"Arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. I cannot believe that people choose to use this guy's services. First off he shows up to the job site a few hours late. He then proceeds to give me a bid so high that I thought he was joking. We are talking almost 4 times as much as the average of everyone else's bid. As we are walking back to our vehicles I ask him for my plans back. He then smugly proceeds to tell me that he left the plans back at the job site because "they are not his plans". At that point I raise my voice and we begin a heated back-and-forth. As he is leaving he backs up on my lawn then as he is pulling forward he manages to run over a 35 gallon cooler that he apparently could not see. The whole time yapping about how he does so much better work than everybody else and how he's booked out with jobs. If he sees this he will probably comment back that this is not what happened but I have cameras that would prove otherwise. As folks here have stated Skyler is rude disrespectful arrogant and overpriced zero stars."

"James and his crew at Cox Custom Remodeling did a great job with our bathroom remodel. Our house was built in 1900 and the nonstandard framing made things more complicated. His lead, Dan was particularly great, taking the extra time to understand components we picked that were new to him. James always had a positive attitude, showed up when he indicated and got things done. Low dust, protection for floors and respect for the rest of the house while the construction was going on. James also provided the best tile guy, Eugene, that did a fantastic job with natural stone and the complicated very fragile mosaic. We would definitely use Cox Custom Remodeling again. They said he did great work, but that had been years before he gave me great prices and then when he actually started doing the work, he started up charging me for anything he could and doing change orders and try to get the bid up 9000 more dollars then original and said that I had asked for the changes we reviewed the bid many times. It was not changed from the original. He was just trying to make more money. He showed up at the job drunk every day. I put a camera in the house to review him and he was drinking on the job and his employees and him were talking crap about me while on the job. he would tell me he?s at the job for eight hours. I would take pictures before he showed up and after it looks like he did no work while in the bathroom. Is a simple small bathroom remodel that has now turned into four months and I had to fire him. If you hire him pay attention to him, smelling like alcohol"
