"The scheduling was extremely easy and fast - they were scheduled the same week I contacted them. They arrive within the window stated and completed the job in the same window. The gentlemen were very professional and curious, leaving my fireplace cleaner than when they arrived. The chimney was extremely dirty with soot and they cleaned it out and it now draws better than ever before. They did recommend one fix to the fireplace which we will do if we decide to keep the wood-burning fireplace and not replace it with gas (which we are considering). We will use this company to service our chimney going forward and would highly recommend them."

"I am in the process of selling my home. The buyers wanted to verify the gas fireplaces were functional. It was critical to get a professional to get the fireplaces started again. The fireplaces had been turned off for a long long time, pilot lights turned off (which now I know is a big no-no) and gas turned off. Morgan worked me into his schedule because of my time crunch. He took his shoes off immediately when he came into the house. He put down a cloth to protect the floor in front of the fireplaces before he started working and explained what he was doing because I was interested in learning. He was honest, treated me fairly, and did not try to take advantage of me being a widow. Morgan was knowledgeable of the Napoleon brand and got both fireplaces working again! "Overall I would recommend ACT air duct cleaning.  I live in a 1913 colonial and I doubt this has ever been done in this house.  I did some research on the EPAs website on this service and read a lot about it beforehand.  The team arrived on time and answered all of my questions before they got started.  I was glad I educated myself a little bit beforehand so that I knew what to expect and what questions to ask. 
The process and tools ACT uses to do their job is interesting and seems very thorough.  When reading their website I didn't understand that they were going to cut a hole in one of my air ducts.  My husband would have had a fit if they'd done that, so I told them they would have to come up with a work around for that.  They talked with Jared (owner) and then  figured out a work around.  The team was very polite and kept me informed of the process.  I will say that there is some dust associated with this process.  Meaning that you can get some "blowback" from some of the vents.  They went around with a vacume and cleaned up any mess they found from "blowback".  The team cleaned up very well and left my house as they found it.  I have noticed a big difference with the decrease in dust in my house since this service has been performed.  I'm glad I did this.

"I had been advised by a roof cleaning service to have a few shingles replaced. There was a delay in getting the visit scheduled, with one missed appointment, but overall the communication was good. Dylan Graeff provided a careful roof inspection and repaired a roof leak (the only specific problem area that I brought to his attention). He did not recommend any other work to be done at this time. He advised regarding proper roof care to maximize the remaining roof life (keeping gutters clean, avoiding moss build-up). Although there were quite a few shingles that could have been replaced, he did not offer to replace the 10 shingles specified in the offer (I had made the shingles available to him). Otherwise, I was satisfied with the professionalism of the service and the advice received.
