The workers drove nearly 60 miles to my place, appeared precisely on time, did careful work that took exactly as long as the office predicted, were pleasant, were flexible about payment types, and provided a receipt and instructions for letting the work cure to prevent leaks. The cost precisely matched the estimate I was given when I phoned for an appointment. A good experience all around. We have not required any major repairs but have been in several times for routine service and have found the Bent Wrench people to be responsive, competent, polite, and friendly, all of which we appreciate! We do not feel pushed to do more than is necessary, and it's helpful that they have told us when it looks like something would be needed in the near future so we can plan for that work. We have seen them be patient with difficult customers and have appreciated their flexibility in accommodating us when our schedules were difficult. Good work! There is an associated quarry, and a trucking operation. While the price for the work was significantly more than we'd anticipated would be necessary, we were new to private road repair and maintenance and had to hope that the recommended work and charges were reasonable and advisable. With heavy trucks coming soon and the winter weather not yet over, we had to rely on the contractor's integrity and reputation in the community in hiring a contractor. Al seemed sincere and forthright in discussing progress and points at which it appeared to him that additional work might be worthwhile to us in the long run, and he was careful to check with us to get work okayed before proceeding. His crew was easy to work with, and we liked Al and the others. Al explained his professional suggestions but did not pressure us, and we approved work incrementally to the point that we paid four times what we had originally planned, repairing some deep holes, areas of poor drainage, and years of rough usage and neglect. It would have been better to reach a clearer understanding about our preference for a basic repair of the whole stretch of road rather than an excellent repair of first one section and then another. We thought we had managed this but in fact were in the position, like people buying house siding in the old days, of finding two sides completely finished and two only just started. Given our lack of expertise with roadwork, this was unfortunate but perhaps not surprising. We do not feel that the company was at fault in this. In the end, we do have a good solid repair of everything but the parking area in front of our house, are happy with the quality of the work, and feel confident that it will be long-lasting. We will also feel free to call Al for future work, and will be in a better position as consumers to negotiate what we truly need. At the time of this writing, Justice is charging $235 per 15-16-ton truckload (at least for a job like ours), compared with $840 for a single truckload of the same size charged by his nearest competitor, Ashe Construction, in Randle, WA. They were once the place to go for auto repair. We took our cars there for years for any repair we needed, and were always pleased. But around 2009-10 there was a change, with new repair men, and new people in the office. I had one of my mirror's knocked part off my car while at the grocery store. I went in, and they said that they didn't have the part, but would order it and call me when it was in. Over the next few months, I would call them every other week to find out that they couldn't find a mirror for my suburban. Like an idiot, I felt committed and stuck with them until they finally ordered and got in the part. They ordered two, so I'd have a matched set. I was fine with this. They also said they'd repair the holes left by the accident at the grocery store. Instead, it seems they went a different route. My guess is they didn't want my car sides to not match ... so they ripped the other mirror off the other side too, to leave matching holes in both sides of my car. The new mirrors were quite cheap too. But mostly, THEY PUT HOLES IN MY CAR DOOR. And charge me $350 to do it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I use Eagle Auto Repair in Forks now. Actually once he arrived, he began work right away and in no time our windows were sparkling clean. He is a very nice, clean cut man, who gives a real professional appearance as he goes about his work. For the B&B it is especially important that any workers are polite and do not race around in a hurried manner, banging equipment around - so we did appreciate his demeanor and care not to make unnecessary mess or damages in the house. Also for our guests, since he needed to be in their private rooms - I'm sure they appreciated that he didn't interfere with their personal items left in the room. None of us were worried that he was going to take anything - his reputation is known in our community.
I was especially pleased that he noted damages to our screens (one done by the previous window washers and the other from an outside swing) and offered to repair them for me. As this is my busy time of the year, it was nice to have him alert to ways he could lighten my load.
It was nice that he took the time to explain to me some of the issues with our windows and how he would be able to correct them for us - he even gave us a tip as to how to keep the windows sparkling even after he left...
I would not hesitate to have him back in our B&B again."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ca/elk-grove/laguna-west-window-cleaning-reviews-7453368.htm"},"position":7},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Good Works Construction","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"WA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Cathy A."},"reviewBody":"The experience was wonderful. He came to talk about the work I wanted done and delivered a proposal of supplies and prices within the next couple of days. When he started the job, he and his helper were hard at work from 9am to 5pm. Joseph is a complete professional! All went really well. Deck Repair reviews from real Angi homeowners in Oroville, WA

"Great! Scott did a quality job and was very easy to work with. The best part was that he was very clear in his pricing, itemizing every invoice and reviewing it with us before every payment that was due."

FAQs for deck repair projects in Oroville, WA
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.
For an average deck of about 300 square feet, you can expect to pay around $100. However, if you have a spacious 1,000-square-foot deck or more, expect that cost to be closer to $300 to $400. Likewise, if it’s been a long time since you deep cleaned your deck, the deck professional might need extra time and to use deck-specific detergent, which will increase the overall cost.
You should have your deck professionally cleaned twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall. A springtime cleaning wipes away grime and mold that accumulated during the wet winter months, making it sparkly clean for summer use. Likewise, cleaning your deck in the fall allows you to wash away grease and leftover mess from the fun summer months rather than letting them soak into your deck over the winter.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
