  Enes and Seattle Fireplace are the best! We are so thrilled to finally have a working gas fireplace. We are customers for life! We will only call Seattle Fireplace whenever we need our fireplace serviced. We moved into our house in May 2008 after it had been completely remodeled, but we could never get our gas fireplace to work. We finally decided to get it serviced. We explained our situation to the first technician who came from another company. He charged us $165, complained that our fireplace was dirty and full of cobwebs but didn't bother to clean it, then spent maybe 10-15 minutes kind of blowing compressed air around the whole fireplace then around the pilot light opening. He couldn't get the pilot light to stay lit, so he told us we needed to replace the pilot light assembly for $1700. Whoa! For a gas fireplace that's practically brand new and never been used? Our next appointment, which I had to make through Yelp, was with Seattle Fireplace; it was a few weeks later but totally worth it. Enes even brought his own vacuum and heavy towels to protect our wood floors while he removed the glass front and vacuumed and cleaned out the whole fireplace. Then he cleaned the pilot light and tried to light it. He figured out there was a small spider stuck in the pilot light opening, so he spent a few minutes blowing it out. After he finally cleared it, he was able to light the pilot light and keep it on. Next, he rearranged the ceramic logs based on the marks on the logs because the other guy just put them back randomly. When he finally turned on the main burner, and the fireplace totally lit up, I was so excited and couldn't stop cheering! So after an hour of service and for $189+tax, we finally have a nice cozy fire in our gas fireplaceshow more

  I was able to schedule this job with Puget Sound Gas within two weeks. It was very important that I get the repair done within a month in order to have a new gas range delivered and installed. Neal and Matt arrived on time and analyzed the job. Because the natural gas pipe came up from the basement through the kitchen floor, access to the gas pipe was limited. After some discussion, Matt secured the gas pipe in the basement while Neal removed the existing fitting. Neal then used a Saws-All to cut out a small section of the tile and underlying Hardy board around the gas pipe to allow him to move the gas pipe closer to the wall. Once the gas pipe was moved, Neal put a new fitting on the line and checked for leaks before completing the job. Neal and Matt were friendly, cordial, skillful and very neat. The company has a two hour minimum for each job and this job took about 90 minutesshow more

  We were once again so happy with their selection and service. I was expecting to pay so much more, since I had been told to expect to pay a lot for an outdoor kitchen by our friends. Not so! They have an amazing modular barbecue island system that saved us literally thousands of dollars! They helped us to configure the components that would just about perfectly fill in an otherwise unused area of our patio, and they filled in the rest to make it all blend together and used cultured stone to blend in all the pieces so you'd never know it was a modular system. The only downside was that we had to wait a while for the grill and the components to arrive, as they were special orders. Part of it was probably our fault that we didn't order everything until mid-summer and we were worried summer would be over before we could enjoy it - but doesn't look like that will be the case this summer. It's all in now and looks absolutely gorgeous - well worth the wait! It was so nice to be able to work with one company who could not only provide the barbecue we wanted, but all of the built-in components and finish it off with stone that matches our house. We couldn't be more pleased with the final result. Not only do we appreciate their professionalism, but their skill level. We found them really enjoyable to work with.   Stellar! Ron arrived on time. Fully prepared with all the tools and equipment for the job. He was super fast and extremely knowledgeable. He completed what for me would have been an all day project in nothing flat. He cleaned up afterward and gave me all extra pieces. I would not hesitate to use him again.   Bob arrived on time and he was very effecient. He replaced the faulty parts with the new ones, he tested the grill and he cleaned up everything even taking the old parts for recycle. I would hightly reccomend this company.

  Well they were at my house on time, verified the situation with the gas insert. They founf that the main vaulve was off behind the insert and they turned in back on for us. Most incredibly was that even though they came to Tacoma all the way from Auburn since they didnt perform an actual service call it was free. That really struck me. In todays world everyone wants to charge for everything. This action let me see how honest and caring this Business and its owner is.
