Bob was great. He responded quickly to my inquiry and got me slotted into his (busy) schedule. When he came out to the house, he diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly. He also answered several questions I had about work that I might like to someday in a very honest way without trying to upsell me on anything. Very professional and friendly - I would use B & C again in a heartbeat.

Work was done professionally. Scheduled appointment was nearly 2.5 months from request, so scheduling for a major issue could prove problematic. Service was completed as expected.

Replaced bad capacitor--working very well now.

I asked for a quote on their website and got an emailed reply right away from CJ. I decided to go with a different company because B&C couldn't get to us for 2 months, but a month later when the other company failed to show up for an appointment, I contacted CJ again to get on their schedule. Two months later, Bob showed up right on time and got right to work. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.  He fixed the fireplace and did a full inspection. The price was a flat fee of $179 plus tax just to come and look at it which included the inspection.

They did exactly what they said they would. The price that they estimated was the same price they charged me. This is the second time I've used them because I like them so much. He wrote down that the convergents of the vents for water heater and furnace and that its not a problem when we sell. A month prior he came to fix our gas fireplace. There was a break in the metal piping and replaced it. He brought my fireplace up to code by installing a damper clamp. He did it all for $140. We connected really well. His wife takes care of the phones. Someone will call you back soon after you call. We ended up talking on my staircase for over an hour after he was finished. He fixed my fireplace in an hour and I had been trying to get people to fix it for 3 years. But they all either declined to do the project or would rather install a new fireplace which was a tremendous amount. He was my savior.

I found them very honest, responsive. He is quick to help and take care of people right away. I have used this service for years. I trust him. That is important.

Arrived on the date scheduled about in the middle of the 2 hour time slot scheduled. Found bad connection immediately when attempting to check current load to compressor pump. Replaced bad connection and heat pump started to produce some heat. Didn't do a complete diagnostic on the whole HVAC system so asked him to check whether the defrost cycle was working properly. Checked the defrost cycle and was working properly.
First HVAC service call in many years where I didn't feel overcharged and where I observed excellent competence in the service personnel. The only thing that could have been better would have been a complete and thorough multi-point system check been made of the whole heat pump and furnace system while here.

Bob has been cleaning and inspecting our gas fireplace and heat pump regularly for the past six years, and always does a superb job. We were first referred to Band C by a local fireplace retailer, and couldn't be more happy with the service we receive. Customer service is clearly a priority to them. From the start, we had a good feeling about these folks. It's a husband/wife team, and she (sorry, can't remember her name) provided lots of useful information over the phone and made sure we got the soonest appointment that met our schedule. The problem with our fireplace turned out to be exactly what she predicted.
When we called around to compare prices, many others told us they would have make an initial visit for diagnostics and a second visit to bring parts to perform the repair. Band C made sure they knew what model fireplace we had and Bob brought all the right parts the first time around. One quick visit, one decent price.
Bob was skilled, honest, quick, professional, and very tidy. A nice guy to boot!
We would definitely use them again.

Bob came out and serviced the furnace and gas fireplace in my newly acquired house. I booked about a week out, they called me the day before to remind me of my appointment.
There was a two hour and quot;windowand quot;, as much as I hate those as requested they called me 30 minutes before they would arrive. He actually got to the house first and found my front door ajar. Oops! So ran off to Home Depot to get new door hardware and left him to do his business. He told me it would take an hour and 45 minutes but when i got home an hour later he was done... so must've been a pretty easy job or maybe i misunderstood. $200/hr seems a bit expensive, and I even and quot;savedand quot; by combining two services into one call.
Regardless, he's a very personable guy. He showed me how to clean my new air filters and use my new fireplace. I would use again.

One word - Amazing!!!! We cannot say enough about Bob and CJ - they are a great team. Right from the start you feel like they are honest and trustworthy and provide really useful information to make sure you know you are making the right decisions for your home. We had several contractors give estimates which whilst over priced, did not fill you with confidence or that they were looking after your interests. Other quotes to replace our flue required a roofer to be onsite to re-flash, however as Bob also has many years experience as a general contractor, he was able to install the new furnace, flue and re-flash all in one go without the added expense of a roofer.
Bob was also very meticulous servicing the gas appliances, making sure he placed protective sheets in front of the fireplaces and leaving them looking like new after the service.
We will be looking to install a heat pump in the near future and there is only one place we are going - B and C Comfort...
