Sure many company sell hot tubs, but if you should run into a problem will you have the real support you need (and paid for) after your purchase? Does the company "stock" parts for your model tub, or do they need to order your parts in, sometimes taking weeks? We asked all these questions and more before we purchased from Lynnwood Aqua Quip. In fact that is why we chose Aqua Quip because they did carry a large inventory of replacement parts if something should go wrong, and they have the service department to back it up...
We felt it was important to work with a company who get and understand how to help their paying customers (who spent a lot of money) not only before the purchase, but after the sale!
We were really fortunate to work with Brady Coultas in sales (who is fantastic) and Jeff Henderson, the store manager. In fact Jeff even came to our home to pre inspect our deck to make sure it was secure enough to handle the weight of the hot tub, he was a true professional all the way! Even the young lady who answers the phone is wonderful. To me this told me Jeff knows how important it is to hire top notch people so they can see the needs of their customers.
I took the time to write this review because so many people today won't spend the time to pay credit, where credit is due. I want to make sure potential customers know about this Lynnwood location of Aqua Quip, and what they can expect walking in the door. As an employer I would rate this company 10 out of a 10, they really deserve it, and I hope you and your family will consider allowing them to earn your business. :-)
"We originally did work on this unit in Dec 2008. At that time we did the repairs on the hot tub but informed the customer that the hot tub was not installed to code and it needed to be brought up to state electrical code before we could work on it again. Over 8 months later, in Aug of 2009 the customer called us back. Upon visiting the site, we informed the customer again that the hot tub wiring needed to be brought up to code for us to work on it. At that time the customer said that they would do any further repairs instead of fixing the wiring problems. We never found out if the issues were similar to the previous issues or new. If the repair had not worked when completed the first time, usually customers call us back before 8 months has gone by. By state law our technicians need to be licensed electrician. We must make sure that items are up to code. This does leave us in a very bad position between the state electrical requirements and the customer. At times, customers get upset that we are not able to work on items that are out of code. We will always be on the side of safety. It is the right thing to do for the customer."
