"E&H L ANDSCAPING SERVICE LLC. does a great job, they get the job done in record time, they never leave a mess always cleaning up be hind them selves. Never have to wait long to get an appointment . I had them for replacing a 60ft. cedar fence, to match the rest of my fence that was still good yet, they painted it the same color that the rest of the fence is. They are very friendly & they get the job done. They had great reviews so I figured I'd give them a try & I am sure glad I did. And by the way they got here on the job an half hour early. For a chain link fence, the ideal distance between fence posts is 6 to 10 feet apart. Measure carefully to ensure even spacing, and resist the temptation to extend the distance more than 10 feet. Doing so could impact the stability of your fence.

Pallet fences come with built-in support through the fence posts you should install on each side of their vertical interior. Stand the fence upright and slide it onto the fence posts, then further support it with 2x4 wood boards that you drill across each point where two pallets connect side-by-side.

Ideally, your concrete should set slightly above ground at an angle sloping away from the fence post. This will add extra support and allow water to run away from the wood fence post. Keeping water out will help prevent wood rot. Additionally, you can add soil on top of the concrete for a seamless finish. 

Removing fence posts that are set in concrete is something you can't do by hand. You will need an excavator, a strong post-puller, or a jackhammer. If you plan on recycling the concrete base, you may be able to cut the post out with a jackhammer and then set the new post in the existing base. However, it's usually better to remove both the fence post and concrete together. Due to the weight of concrete, you will need a hydraulic removal tool.
