"I first contacted Bizzy Bee several months ago and left a voicemail message. Within a few hours, I received a response from Deb, the owner of the company. She arranged to come out the following day to give me an estimate. With the discount coupon I received from Angie's List, my service came to $80.00, which I feel is quite reasonable.
Deb arrives every two weeks, right on time, with her crew, which can range from two to four people total. They spend less than two hours to clean my entire house, but clean it they do. They have a checklist which they follow, and each person on the team is responsible for doing his/her bit. Today, for instance, this is what they did:
"Sweep all floored areas. Dust furniture, all horizontal ledges, lamps, knick-knacks, shelves, window sills, pictures. Wash inside window track, sliding/french doors and floors. Vacuum carpets and upholstery. Empty trash and recycle if needed. Wash woodwork.
Bathroom: Scrub shower grout, sinks, toilets, tubs, countertops and floors. Dust bathroom knick-knacks, pictures, shelves. Shine all metal, mirrors and glass. wipe base.
Kitchen: Wash countertops and all things on top of them, cabinets, stove, microwave. Scour sink and shine al chrome and stainless steel. Mop floor:
And at the first of the month, clean the window blinds."

"My cleaning team consisted of three ladies. Appointment was set for between 2PM-3PM. They arrived late and explained that they were short one cleaner and it set them back time wise as there were cleanings prior to mine. I can appreciate that things such as this can happen and still graded a B for punctuality because I did receive a phone call advising they were running a bit behind. The team took a few moments to walk through the house and discuss what I wanted done (a whole house deep clean) then set to work. They were efficient, worked hard and were meticulous in their cleaning! I've been using a housekeeper once a week for two years and know what I can and can't expect from a cleaner and these girls have, so far, exceeded my expectations. I have many shelves in my closet with lots of shoes on them, the shoes were removed and the shelves dusted (not an easy, nor pleasant task). All the blinds were meticulously dusted, carpets vacuumed well, bathrooms and kitchen spotless. All of my wood furniture was polished and looked great! My wood and tile flooring was vacuumed then cleaned BY HAND and look great! I am a clean freak and my expectations are probably higher than average, so saying that they've exceeded my expectations is impressive. Midway through a territory supervisor showed up to check on the cleaning team and to go through the house and discuss future cleanings, concerns etc...and to give me a cost quote, which was broken down into once per month, every other week and weekly. After the team was finished the team lead walked through the house with me to go over what was done and to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I have a 4050 square foot home and four indoor dogs, the price that I was quoted for weekly cleanings was well within the normal range for this type of cleaning service. In fact, I paid my last housekeeper only $44 less and she was just one person that didn't do anywhere near as a good a job. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote and have signed up to have The Maids come back once per week! Overall I was impressed with the team, the supervisor, the cleaning and the price!
