Within one day of parts arriving, JC Appliance Service was at our door (right on time for his appointment) and had our LG refrigerator repaired in less than an hour! He was the ONLY appliance repair service we contacted who returned our calls in a timely manner. He also responded very quickly to text inquiries. We won't hesitate to use them again. We had a part ordered to repair the refrigerator but we were never notified or informed of when the part would arrive to be replaced. The refrigerator was never fully repaired. Our tenants bought a different fridge to use.

On approximately April 28 of this year, I contacted Angiâ s List to find a technician to fix my washer that was no longer mixing the detergent during the wash cycle, nor spinning the clothes dry. JC Appliance came up as reputable, with descent reviews. I phone them, and the owner was able to get out that same day, for which I was very grateful. He looked at the washer/dryer stack combo, and moved the various knobs around. He determined the detergent that was no longer mixing in during the wash cycle was due to my putting in too much detergent, although we were using the same amount we always had, per the instructions. Additionally he decided the clothes were sopping wet after wash completed due to a mix-up of software signals, dumping water in during the spin cycle. He did not do any kind of computer querie, and perhaps they donâ t do that with washers. I donâ t know. What I do know is this is a machine. With a motor. And he never took off any of the covers, never looked at the motor, never checked the belt that translates the motorâ s torque to the machineâ s agitator that churns inside the washer drum. Instead he told me it was all due to corrupt software and it would cost $600 to fix. Additionally he charged $145.10 for the visit and â diagnosis.â Two days later, I got a second opinion. The new technician arrived and immediately took off the front cover to expose the drum, the motor and belt and a heap of socks and small garments which had been slung over the drumsâ s wall when very full, during a hearty spin cycle. The large pile appeared to have interfered with the proper function of the belt, which had partially fallen off. The tech inspected then replaced the original, undamaged belt, removed the clothes from the cavity, and Voila! The washer worked great again! The whole thing cost me $120.
