Hey all, My name is Matt Kruger, Owner of The Premium Handyman Vancouver to Longview LLC. I've enjoyed fixing things and helping people since my very first job at Ace Hardware 20+ years ago. Over the last 2 decades, I've been able to hone in on my home remodeling/maintenance skills and am able to complete a wide variety of tasks. I decided to get licensed as a general contractor because there are a lot of home maintenance, remodeling, and fix-it tasks that many homeowners may not know how to do or don't feel comfortable doing themselves. On top of that, I noticed a lot of contractors are charging an egregious amount to homeowners, sometimes as high as $200/hr. Insane! I wanted to create a business that was ethical, fair, and honest to the people of Clark and Cowlitz County Washington. Armed with the skillsets of remodeling/maintenance/carpentry and a master's degree in business, I'm slated to utilize my skills and knowledge to best serve both you and your home.

"We actually had Bellos Construction do considerably more than just a bathroom remodel. Additional work included installing flooring, installing insulation and drywall, demolition work, roofing repair, etc. Overall the experience was good. Jose is very responsive and helped me out quite a bit dealing with renovating and repairing an older house that was not properly taken care of by the previous owners/renters. The only real issue we had was confirming the materials that would be installed in the bathroom (i.e., fixtures, etc). There was some miscommunication there that probably was not helped by the fact we are out of state and trying to manage a construction project. One thing that stood out about Jose was his willingness to help out with things that didn't fall under his contractual obligations. For example, he helped me transport a water tank when he didn't need to do so. If we have a need for services that Bellos Construction offers, then we will definitely consider them in the future given our experiences with them."

A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

We are a full service flooring, furniture and window coverings store. Family owned and operated for 55 years. We sell a variety of flooring options including hardwood, carpet, marmoleum, cork, and laminate, and luxury vinyl tile. We also sell and install blinds and shutters. Our custom rug workroom can put the finishing edge on your leftover carpet pieces, or design a custom rug. Our professional and courteous installers are all employees of our store so we are able to warrant the product and the installation. "We dealt with Koeber's in the past when replacing bathroom flooring and were very pleased. Based on our experience, we turned to them to replace our existing 1,000 square feet of laminate and tile downstairs flooring. The business is relatively small family owned and dealing with them feels that way - everyone was very helpful in helping us decide which type of flooring best met our needs. We did not price shop - based on reviews and our previous experience, we chose what we felt was the best option for our work. On the negative side, the installation queue was 8 weeks out - not a problem for us but might be an issue if you had to have it done tomorrow. The installation took 4 days and they were able to float the flooring material over our existing floor with no transition required - even though we used a different pattern in our kitchen area. The installers (John/Kevin) were extremely polite, moved all of our furniture, worked around our PC so it did not need to be disconnected, and were extremely tidy. We are quite pleased with the flooring and our dealings with Koeber's. Shopping around might get you a better price but our chief criterion was quality and dependability - and we were not disappointed."
