I am a small business, fully run out of a big shop behind my house. I take great efforts to make my customers happy and believe communication is very important. I am the owner and the one doing ALL the work from start to finish. I take great pride in my work and will not let the piece out my doors until it is perfect. I do a lot of sub contracting w/ other big shops with store fronts. I accept cash or check or Venmo/PayPal ONLY. A great way to get started with your upholstery projects is to please call or text me with pictures to my phone number (425) 876-2030. I can give you a quote on labor and approximate yardage. Thank you so much and I look forward to helping you with your upholstery needs! Please CALL FIRST before coming to my shop. I work out of my home and meet customers by appointment ONLY. Thank you for understanding.

"Angie was quick to respond to my project request. She gave me an incredibly competitive and fair quote and we set up a time to meet. I dropped my ottoman off with her and went over some material options. We kept in touch with a loose time frame and she kept me updated every step of the way. She even found a better hide to work with than what we had originally agreed on. The work completed is amazing, and the ottoman looks good as new. Angie was SO friendly and professional the entire way and will be reaching out to her any time I have upholstery work in the future!"

Wood used in production comes primarily from urban trees, salvaged due to disease or natural causes. No part of the manufacturing process is outsourced, including the steel work. Production, from milling to completion, takes place within a 20-mile radius and has been designed to minimize and reuse as many resources as possible. Generally the time from salvage to final product is 2 to 3 years, most of that time spent patiently drying in our green room.

Furniture Refinishing questions, answered by experts

Wood furniture gets sticky when dirt and grime accumulate on the surface. Sometimes, wax coatings and oils are the culprit, but other times, it’s a sign that the finish is failing, and no amount of cleaning your wood furniture will help. Varnish and lacquer can both get sticky as they age, and in this case, you’ll need to refinish the wood to stop the issue.

Wood furniture is usually vulnerable to water damage. However, larger furniture tends to have a high chance of being salvaged as long as it hasn’t been standing in water for more than 24 hours. You can restore bedpoles, table and couch legs, and other wood parts that haven’t been fully saturated. Meanwhile, smaller objects like decors or furniture with fabric wrapping may require full replacement.

Follow care instructions based on the material, regularly clean, and avoid moisture or heat exposure.

If you have decided that hiring a professional to refinish your floors will be faster and more satisfactory, you can expect to pay between $1,000 and $2,500. To get a better idea of what your hardwood refinishing project will cost with a professional, multiply the project’s square footage by the average price of $4 per square foot.

Yes, in most cases it’s a good idea to wrap furniture in plastic to protect it from dirt, dust, and damage during storage. However, natural and porous materials such as wood or leather should have breathable fabric covers to prevent moisture damage from condensation. Either way, it’s always important to ensure proper ventilation to prevent moisture buildup, especially in humid climates.
