The owner, Daniel Shaigau, came to provide me an estimate and from the 1st meeting was courteous and professional. The quote was competitive with other vendors and with outstanding reviews I selected them to complete the work. The installers were incredibly hard workers and provided good communication during the process. We asked them to match a color sample and Daniel and his crew did an incredible job and provided several sample variations to choose from. The completed job was outstanding. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again for any future project. 19K Project.

The positives: my point of contact, Slav, was very responsive. Pricing was competitive--almost exactly the same as my other quote. The floors look really good, and were finished within the time frame given. The negatives: I asked and was invoiced for removal and reinstallation of baseboards, and a natural finish (no color added). This was confirmed with the crew when I gave them the house key. The baseboards were not removed, and showed quite a bit of scuffing. The color of the floors turned out to be a reddish gold, which I suspect may be because a stain or colored sealant was used to blend in the edges since the baseboards weren't removed. I expressed my concerns, and was told that no stain was applied. I have my doubts, but I could be wrong. In the future, I will insist on color samples if we ever need to refinish a floor again.

The quality of the work that his team did is the highest level and the end result is spectacular--we couldn't be happier.

Daniel and his team are exceptional! You will not find a more professional EXCELLENT team if you are looking for a company to do hardwood flooring work. I had 1,500 sq ft. of hardwood flooring replaced in my home and the flooring is beautiful! From start to finish I was so pleased I chose them. Over the years I've had several remodeling projects small and large. What has annoyed me was the amount of mess and cleaning I had to deal with after the job. Not Daniel's team. At the end of each day they removed debris and cleaned up!! NO BIG cleaning job was required at the end. Highly recommend this company.

Daniel and his crew were great from start to finish. We had water damage in 1 room, and pest damage in another, so they had to replace lots of wood and weave into existing before refinishing the whole floor. Competitive pricing, high attention to detail, started and finished on schedule, and most importantly the floor looks perfect. We couldn't be happier!

The work was performed on the specified schedule and the result is amazing. The floor is absolutely stunning. It totally puts to shame the original flooring job. Daniel's crew encountered more repair work than was in the bid estimate and Daniel did not charge me for the added work and expense. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. European Hardwood Flooring came highly recommended and did not disappoint. They did a beautiful job refinishing our 30 year old hardwoods floor and matching them perfectly to new hardwoods which they installed in the family and dining room. They were very professional workers, and provided an excellent product. I also appreciated the care they took to be clean while installing, sanding and staining our hardwoods.

Daniel is an honest and hard-working flooring contractor, who clearly understands hard wood floors and wants his customers to be satisfied. He has a truly amazing and exceptionally hard-working crew. I've been screening and hiring contractors for various projects in 3 different homes now for over 12 years now, and "honest" is a word I can use only for one other contractor. I am also pretty critical and have very high standards and don't usually praise contractors. But Daniel and his team are truly extraordinary and his is truly a case of a completely well-deserved Angie's List Super-service Award. Daniel was quick not only with the bid, but also with getting his crew on site to start the project. There was no low-balling to land the job, and the price was extremely competitive and fair. There were no surprises in the price, even after the carpet was removed and there was an unforeseeable amount of gashes to the floor done by the carpet installers. The final price was completely consistent with the estimate for removing the damaged wood boards in areas not covered by carpet. Another reviewer was disappointed that Daniel was not on site when the project started, but if you have an issue or question, you should just contact him. He is very responsive and will come on site, if you need him there. His crew, Jose and his son. removed individual boards that were too damaged to be sanded down and replaced each one. The end result is a seamlessly integrated and beautiful floor! They were also able to correct a shoddy patchwork board-swapping job done by previous contractor. You can't tell that there was ever a problem there. Finally, we were told by some contractors that they couldn't save our baseboards (which was important to us because it matched all the other door trim in the house) and Daniel saw that without being told and his crew was able to remove baseboard without damaging anything! Our floors after lifting the carpets were in shocking shape, nails in the boards everywhere, gashes across the middle of the floor from the carpet installers, pet stains, water damage-- but after 8 days of really hard work (and they came in to work on Saturday, too, as well as stay until 8), our floors look spectacular! We are extremely pleased and would hire again! I am truly impressed by the dedication and hard work of the entire team!

I have experience refinishing floors. As in, I have done this kind of work before. So I am super picky. These guys did an amazing job. The attention to detail was excellent. The customer service and professionalism was stellar.

Thanks to Daniel and his team, finally my hardwood floor is back to normal!! When it was damaged by the flood came out from my wash machine, I called Daniel the other day around noon. Daniel came to my house to check the damage within one hour after my call. Then send his team to come, removed the damaged part of the hardwood floor, put a dryer to dry the base of the floor, all within the same afternoon! After that his team put on new hardwood floor for the damage part and repainted my whole floor to make sure it looks consistent. They did a great job that I can't tell any different before and after. Just like the origin. Daniel could also work with my insurance company and have full coverage for the work. I will highly recommend Daniel and his team.
