I would like to add, we've now been stuck with Solgen for almost 2 years and it's been nothing but surprises along the way. First 2 of our panels were broken and they never called to let us know. So we went 3 months with RIDICULOUSLY high utilities until we finally called. They argued with us for over a month over the issue until they finally sent someone to inspect and low behold we had a few broken panels. NOW we are paying DOUBLE our payment amount because NO ONE told us that our payments through Verity were "18 months interest free"... We have looked through all our contracts AND NOTHING talks about 18 months interest free payments. My fiance and I are currently looking for another loan company to take over the solar panels because we were ultimately screwed over by Solgen and Verity. Instead of paying roughly $300 in total for all utilities, we are now paying $600+! Don't get me started in their customer service department.... Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone..... We are 5 months in, it's still not up and running... Our 6 months free is gone, so now we're paying for something that isn't working. The lady my fiance talked to yesterday told him the panels they need to upgrade should take 2 hours to do.. The electrician showed up this morning, to my surprise it's going to take well over 6+hours, with the power shut off. The icing on the cake was when he explained they have to come back another time, turn off the power and do some more upgrades.. NO ONE EXPLAINED THIS FROM THE BEGINNING! Not to mention, we were told ONE electrician would be doing the job and I had 3 guys at my door. With how society is right now, having 3 males in my home while my fiance is gone is not okay."
