"10/23/2025 follow-up , our gate will not stay closed. I DON'T recommend Bennys Fencing & Lawn Care !!!! He screwed up on our gates & he did not complete the fence. We still have a large gap by my neighbors and my property meet. He was supposed to put wheels on the gate He didnt . I told him specifically multiple times that I wanted 3 gates 1 for drive way, 1 for walkway, 1 for the other side of the yard for cars to also go and he told us he didnt know that's what I wanted that he thought 2 gates by driveway 1 gate by walkway which is incorrect. So we finally got on the right page and then he charged me 150$ extra for his screw up. We asked for the rest of the material that we paid for and he said it doesnt work like that ummm it should if we paid for it but he said it was from his house when he told us earlier that he had to go buy it. His stories didnt even match up. He also charges a little over than our bid+150$. Im just not happy that I wasted several thousands of dollars on this. "

"We had their mowing service for 2 years. It went well until about 2-3 months ago. I think Russell has a new partner because the name changed to R&D Construction and Landscaping. I inquired about a couple of missed mowings, which can happen at end of season if mowing is not needed. Didn't return calls last 2-3 months. I don't have a final bill so if I am billed for these I may update this review. They did good work and I am happy to pay for mowings actually done. Russell used to come with his workers until recently, which is when the problems occured. I don't know why the sudden change in service, but they quit when I asked about the missed mowings, 3 in the past 2 months. The work was good, but communication was bad in the end."

This includes removing the old unit, taking necessary measurements for positioning, removing and fitting new pipes, and installing the brand-new disposal system. If there are unforeseen issues, such as accessibility concerns, the process takes longer.

Whether you choose to repair your garbage disposal will depend on the problem. For minor issues like a bad seal, you can fix the unit for less than $10. If the motor unit is broken, which can easily cost $150, you may want to consider replacing the entire disposal if it’s getting on in years. 

Garbage disposals are durable appliances that usually last at least eight years as long as you clean and maintain them. It’s relatively rare for a garbage disposal to break on its own, as most malfunctions happen due to user errors, like overstuffing the grinding compartment or damaging the blades by trying to dispose of metal or bone. Eventually, cracks or leaks could develop in the unit, which requires a full replacement. 

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. Make sure you shut the power off to the area first and check that it’s off with a voltage detector. Disconnect the main drain line and P-trap, and then disconnect the dishwasher drain line if you have one connected. You can then unscrew your garbage disposal using a disposal wrench. Just make sure you disconnect the electrical lines before removing your appliance.
