"Foster?s attention to detail is unmatched. He remodeled our kitchen with such care, making sure every cabinet door lined up perfectly and every piece of trim was flawless. From the very first design meeting, he really listened to how we used the space and came up with ideas we would never have thought of, like a pull-out spice rack next to the stove and extra-deep drawers for pots and pans. His crew was respectful, worked steadily, and kept us informed throughout the process. Now, cooking and entertaining is a joy, and we couldn?t imagine going back to how it was before."

"The crew was punctual, communications were very good, customer service was excellent. The jobs, 2 projects, were done efficiently and quickly, and when they had a question or a better way to do something they asked first, instead of possibly doing something wrong. They were very personable as well. I would highly recommend this company, and I will be using them again."

"They started Dec 15 2008 but couldn't finish until Jan 2009 due to bad weather. They removed the rotted wood trim from around the garage doors, replaced trim & weather strip around garage doors, replaced siding boards that broke during process. Pressure washed the siding with mildewcide (sp?) & caulked up most seams between the siding butt joints. They needed to recaulk again because of shrinkage but missed a few places. Painted whole exterior body & trim. Adjusted gutters & Installed needle guard. Looks great but more expensive than I thought it would be."

"Mark called back right away, a sign he is enthusiastic about customer service. It was an unusual job that required some out of the box thinking... and Mark and his assistant Aaron came through like champs. The job not only looks awesome but he repaired damage that was there without even a thought. We feel like the floor looks 100% better than it did when we bought the RV."

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

To install or move washer and dryer hookups, you will likely need a combination of professionals. A plumber can handle the water supply lines and drain pipes. If you have a gas dryer, a plumber certified for gas lines or an HVAC specialist will be needed to run the gas line. An electrician is required to install the correct electrical outlets. For simpler jobs, a local handyperson may suffice, while a contractor might be needed for tasks like drywall repair for the new vents.

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).

A handyperson can perform a wide variety of home improvement and repair projects. Common jobs include painting, cleaning gutters, assembling new furniture, and replacing fixtures like cabinets or lights. They can also handle more complex tasks such as installing a dishwasher, fixing minor plumbing leaks, refinishing wood floors, and replacing doors. Generally, a handyperson is ideal for any project that does not require a specific license or certification, such as those related to major plumbing, electrical, or structural work, which should be handled by a licensed tradesperson.

If a contractor is in breach of your contract, sometimes it is possible to collect damages for unreasonable delays. However, such claims can be expensive and difficult to prove. If there’s a way to complete the work and maybe negotiate for a discount for some of the inconvenience, that might be a simpler and cheaper way to resolve any disputes.

A contractor specializes in a specific field. They often operate in teams where they have subcontractors to handle specialized problems. So if you have significant plumbing, drywall, or roofing issues, you’ll want to hire a contractor, as the job may require a team.

A handyperson is typically one person who works on whatever jobs come their way. You wouldn’t call a contractor to fix the hinges on cabinets or paint your room. Instead, a handyperson can handle all these issues, saving you from making multiple phone calls.
