"We were very happy with the result. There were a lot of stairs and a couple needed a bit of fine tuning after the job was finished, but Tobias was there the same day I called to make the adjustments. Tobias and his long time helper were efficient and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. They took out the old carpet and some of the padding and disposed of it for us. Before the job began, Tobias pulled up carpet here and there to check the condition of the pad. Most of it  did not need replacement (except the stairs)  which was a savings.

"Empire floors did the best project out of several we hired th S summer. Good communication between salesman, office, installers, and customer. They did what they promised, on schedule, for a fair price. Quality of materials is very good. Workmanship varies. Wood floors by Manuel are very nice - all completed in one day, a very nice surprise. Molding should have been angled at joints, but otherwise good. Tile floor in bathroom was a bit sloppy (by a different installer)."
