"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

Small jobs welcome

"Maria and Sergey were pleasant to work with. They listened to what we were looking for and help make suggestions. Sergey's work is amazing, we are incredibly happy with the cabinet doors he built for us. They add a bright beauty to our kitchen and bathrooms. We would recommend him to anyone looking for quality cabinet refacing."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"We were very hesitant to start our bathroom project due to our previous contractor experience, which to say the least was not very positive. We contacted Sean who came out very promptly to do a bid. My goal was to find a contractor who could do all the different facets of the job. I was thrilled when Sean said he could do the installation of all aspects of the job. Yeah...no more subs! We decided to go with Sean because his price seemed fair, his previous experience and his knowledge of woodworking, tiling etc. He also asked very detailed questions during our inital visit which told me he knew what he was doing. Sean began the job exactly on the date he said he would and finished at the approximate date he said he would. He stuck with our job from the beginning to the end which was a dream come true. During the whole process, Sean stayed very focused and calm, even when unexpected problems arose, which was very important to me. In addition, he was thoughtful about protecting our wood floors and using dust control methods. The project involved Sean working with us on a cabinet and vanity design since we were looking for something custom, building a whirlpool tub deck and tub setting, tiling, plumbing, and hanging and trimming out a pocket door. Sean did a beautiful job and we are thrilled to have it done!"

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

The 1/3 rule is a design guideline used by interior designers and cabinet installers to select appropriately sized pulls for cabinets and drawers. The rule suggests that for a balanced and cohesive look, a cabinet pull should be approximately one-third the height of the cabinet door or one-third the width of the drawer face. This guideline helps create a symmetrical appearance because the human eye tends to follow the length of the pull across the cabinet face.

While the 1/3 rule is a helpful starting point, it is not the only option. If a measurement falls between available pull sizes, it's generally best to size up. For an ultra-contemporary aesthetic, you can also opt for full-width pulls that span the entire drawer.

Most installations take 1-3 days, depending on customization and venting setup.

Using a shim or another type of self-leveling feet on the bottom edge of your cabinet bases will help to level them out if you’re installing them on a less-than-level surface. To make this process easier, you can add your shims before attaching the bases to your cabinets while they’re still light and easy to move around.

If you have a drawer larger than 30 inches, you should consider adding two pulls, but, again, this decision is up to personal preference. Any pro you work with on cabinet installation can help you determine how many pulls you need and where you should place them.

It’s much less expensive to build your own garage shelves, and you’ll still get stable, long-lasting, and sharp-looking shelves. Garage storage systems cost between $615 and $2,635, with the national average of about $1,455. Building DIY garage shelves typically costs less than $500, and the quality of a DIY garage shelving unit will almost always be higher than what you could buy premade for the equivalent price.
