"Gary was prompt, reasonable and did great work. His crew was professional and courteous. The job they did for me was phenomenal. Our “contract” was a handshake and Gary more than lived up to his commitment. I will call Gary again for any future paving needs!"

"I am very pleased with the work Joe's Yard Service did on my landscaping. They did the job within 2 days of discussing the work with them and then were done within a day. It looks beautiful and I'll remember them next Spring as well as any other outside jobs I need doing."

"I can't say enough good about this crew. They were awesome. Very friendly and easy to work with, did a great job. Arrived on time and always came back when they said they would. They removed my very broken up driveway and replaced it and the walkway. They also expanded the driveway to the side a bit and around a tree. It looks beautiful. They are very efficient and hard working. I really appreciated also the extra perks they added and Dan ok'd. The whole experience was much more enjoyable than I though such an undertaking would be. I was amazed just how fast they were able to complete the job. I thought it would take longer than just two days. Working with William and John was fun, and the finish crew of Leo, Alejandro, and Dallas were really nice as well. I certainly recommend Capital Concrete and Asphalt to anyone who needs concrete work done. And the price was very fair and affordable."

"This company, so far, has been keeping in touch with me, letting me know when to expect services (one done so far) and when the next project will be worked on. The major reason I hired them is because their front office is friendly and articulate. The reason for continuing with them are clear communication and reasonable estimates."

The material that’s best for your private road depends on your property, the climate in your area, and your personal preferences. Gravel is an affordable option, but some homeowners don’t like how it looks. It can be a pain to remove snow from, and it requires more ongoing maintenance than asphalt or concrete. However, while these other options require less maintenance and make snow removal a breeze, they’re more expensive and will need repairs from time to time. Ultimately, you’ll have to choose the road material that suits you and your property best.

Quality pavers and correct installation handle temperature variations. Proper maintenance is crucial in severe climates to prevent issues like heaving.

Yes, pea gravel is good for driveways as long as your driveway isn’t built on a hill or any type of slope where it can slide. It’ll settle on a flat surface and create a suitable driveway over time, though some spreading initially will take place. If you're wondering how to make a gravel driveway in a high-rainfall area, using pea gravel could help you to cut down on costs needed for extra drainage solutions.

Yes, you can put thin pavers over a concrete driveway. However, it's always best to talk to a driveway installer before starting. You'll need to ensure that the concrete below is in good enough shape to hold the pavers and that the driveway will still meet local building codes.

Yes, but it's best to kill off the grass with solarization and remove the dead plant matter before laying down the pavers. This helps limit the chance of your pavers shifting as the dead plant matter decomposes.
