But there were serious complications that could not have been expected or planned for.  H. did a great job of leading us through the process and trying to make us feel comfortable with the decisions that we were making.  There were a few hiccups with some of the subcontractors and the time of year.  I wish that the project could have started on time--instead of so late in the year, and I would ask for different subcontract concrete workers in the future as they were unprofessional and made our neighbors uncomfortable.  They poured a crooked retaining wall--setting our project back--and I have been less then impressed with how the concrete sealing looks in our carport.  H. was aware of this and did his best to bring them up to standard.  However, the other subcontractors working with H. and his team were very professional and courteous.  The electricians were prompt and efficient, and H. employees were hardworking.  I enjoyed having them in my home.  One of the windows was left unwrapped--mostly due to the fact that there was a lot going on in this project and it just got overlooked.  H. eventually had someone come out and finish the details at no extra cost to us.
