"DO NOT USE: We were quoted $6K for a shower kit install. Upon completion of the work, it was immediately apparent that the installation was defective and did not meet acceptable industry standards. Specifically: No water membrane was installed behind the shower kit, rendering the installation non-compliant with waterproofing best practices. No caulking was applied to seal seams, leaving the installation vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. The walls and surrounding trim were not plumb, which made it impossible to install a functioning shower door. A McLendon's supervisor subsequently inspected the installation onsite and acknowledged the poor workmanship. We were informed that the matter would be addressed, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls, we received no further communication or resolution from McLendon's. Nevertheless, the remaining balance of $3,100 was charged to our account without our authorization or consent and without any resolution."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. He quoted me an initial price for the craw space job and committed to it despite the challenges he faced to get it done.
