"My wife and I hired Jim to sand and refinish our hardwood floors and we could not be happier. We went with a darker stain and they removed all the baseboards and put them back on after they completed the work. Chris did about 90% of the work and he is a master at what he does. He was here on time every day and cleaned up and just did a fantastic job. We were also amazed at how little bit of dust we ve had to deal with after the project, it s truly 98% dust free I would guess. Our floors were 20 years old and they look brand new! I can t figure out how to put pictures on this review but I will send some for Jim to post on his website. I would highly recommend these guys for any hardwood floor needs that you might have. Modern Flooring Services provided a contractor to provide an initial estimate and a list of supplies needed to purchase. Then they sent a consummate professional and craftsman to install our floor. His name was Patrick, and he started by explaining what we should expect when he removed the carpet, prepared the subfloor, and then installed the wood.
