My name is Andrew Lenius, and I started SDHI after my wife and I moved to the Pittsford area. I am a self-starter who, after 23+ years in the global Information Technology space, needed to get out of the office and away from the computer. I enjoy working with my hands, excel at problem solving, and find it rewarding to help others in my community while still being able to support my family. I’m constantly growing my service skills and have experience in almost all aspects of home and property maintenance (see our service list below along with our project photos page). "Andrew came highly recommended. I contacted him for a leaking sink. Before he came over he requested detailed information and a phone photograph. This had three purposes: (1) it allowed him to diagnose the problem; (2) it saved him (and me!) a preliminary visit to assess the situation; and (3) on the basis of the above he gave me a cost estimate. Next thing, he came over, fixed the problem in one single visit. the work was done promptly and efficiently. Andy billed me (the amount of the estimate) and I paid promptly. Thank you, Andy. It was a pleasure doing business with you!"

My service is very wide ranged. I have many clients that just have me do virtually everything from here fall and spring clean up to taking care of there pool aan anything that might come about. Such as a roof jog or a garage they want built. Generally it is only me doing the work but from time to time I might have a helper. I tend to work time and materials but will give bids on jobs. Tends to work out to be a higher number. It's hard to forsee every possibilty in the job. I tend to bill on a weekly basis but if discussed, i will do sooner or when job is complete.
