Spotted Dog Home Improvements, LLC (SDHI) provides professional handyman services for homeowners, property managers, and businesses. Make sure to see our site for more details http://sdhi-llc.com. My name is Andrew Lenius, and I started SDHI after my wife and I moved to the Pittsford area. I am a self-starter who, after 23+ years in the global Information Technology space, needed to get out of the office and away from the computer. I enjoy working with my hands, excel at problem solving, and find it rewarding to help others in my community while still being able to support my family. I’m constantly growing my service skills and have experience in almost all aspects of home and property maintenance (see our service list below along with our project photos page). I’ve built these skills over the past 17+ years of home ownership and assisting family and friends with their projects.

Andrew came highly recommended. I contacted him for a leaking sink. Before he came over he requested detailed information and a phone photograph. This had three purposes: (1) it allowed him to diagnose the problem; (2) it saved him (and me!) a preliminary visit to assess the situation; and (3) on the basis of the above he gave me a cost estimate. Next thing, he came over, fixed the problem in one single visit. the work was done promptly and efficiently. Andy billed me (the amount of the estimate) and I paid promptly. Thank you, Andy. It was a pleasure doing business with you!

Andrew was amazing! Not only did he offer a great quote but he also completed fabulous workmanship. I hired Andrew to install my dryer after buying my house and he very carefully mapped everything out and even taught me a few things along the way.

Andrew installed towel rods, door and drawer pulls and handles, installed the washer and the dryer, and a hanging organizer in the garage. He is a diligent and thorough worker. He does excellent work and I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

I hired Andre of Spotted Dog Home Improvements to take down two closet doors in my home office and hang curtain panels to replace them. They did an excellent job. I was very impressed by how quickly he worked and how meticulous he is. He pays attention to every last detail. I was also grateful that he took the time to ask me exactly how I wanted them hung before he started the job. I was not able to stay in the room while he did the work and it turned out exactly as I had hoped. I will definitely be calling SDHI again to help with the many handyman projects I need done around the house.

Installed a garbage disposal and it worked great for over a year then it stopped working. I called him and when he came to look at it, he removed a small bone that had gotten stuck and jammed it up. Works great again. Thank You for the repair, I thought I needed a new disposal.
