"We contacted Stan Friday morning, Jan.24,2020 to see if he could install a new faucet in our kitchen. We were very pleased that even though it was a Friday, he said he could come by later that afternoon and do the installation! He had never installed this type of faucet but was able to quickly understand the directions and installed the faucet in about 90 minutes. The original faucet was at least 20 years old and required extra effort to remove and Stan managed it beautifully! I highly recommend Stan, owner of Plumbperfect for any plumbing issues. Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. Common causes include hair buildup, soap residue, food particles, and foreign objects. Older pipes can also contribute by facilitating buildup more easily.

To clean gunk out of a sink drain, pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar. The two will react chemically; let them fizz for 15 minutes, then rinse with boiling water. Repeat these steps if necessary for particularly dirty sink drains, and consider a drain snake if there are clogs.

While technically possible, it is unlikely that a clogged toilet will fix itself. Clogs caused by water-soluble materials like toilet paper or human waste may eventually break down in the water, allowing flow to resume. However, this can take time, and any clogs from solid objects require manual removal. In most scenarios, especially if you don't have another bathroom, it is best to fix the clog yourself or call a plumber.
