A decade ago we landed on Fireside Gas & Chimney Service as the best value and by far, the best service. Their work is impeccable - they are more thorough and more thoughtful than any of our previous chimney and stove cleaners. In addition to a comprehensive cleaning of our stove pipe, the chimney is inspected, a report is filled out and a copy is left with us. James always carefully disassembles our stoveâ s smoke baffles and meticulously cleans them before reinstalling. At the end of the service call, the area theyâ ve worked in is left spotless. During our recent service, James changed the damaged heat panels in the stove with replacements I had purchased earlier and didnâ t charge me for his installation time. In addition, they felt the state of the stove pipe indicated that we burn efficiently and modestly enough that they recommend only returning for a cleaning every 2 years.
