"I had a down-spout on the second story of my house that needed unclogging. Since I have gutter helmets on the gutters, I needed someone to disassemble the down-spout and clean it out. No one else wanted to do the job, so I called gutter helmet people who wanted $300 just to look at the job. In the springtime, I had the team from Aquaforce clean my siding. I called them and asked if they would help me out. Sean and Leemar came over and did a fantastic job of unclogging my gutter - in about 30 minutes. They were prompt, professional, and did a quality job. I recommend them to everyone and would certainly call them again if I need help."

"This company is great. They are very kind, the prices are reasonable, and they make it very easy to schedule an appointment. I easily set everything up over the phone and they were there the next week. The workers were very polite and the job was done quickly but very well. The windows look great and I'm glad I got the pressure cleaning. Every one should check these guys out!

"Fernando evaluated a stone facade on my Colonial Beach, VA townhouse that had come loose due to poor builder construction. He matched the stone perfectly and repaired the original work to like new condition. He was responsive, timely, cost-competitive, and most importantly did grade A work. Would definitely hire for any future projects!"

"Excellent customer service. I had significant buildup on my roof, and they cleared it all away. My roof is shaped so that there are some difficult nooks and crannies to access, but they got it all."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.
