"I contacted JV's Handyman Services through Angie's List Website and about 15 days ago, he came and quoted me a price for the work. He asked for a deposit and I gave him $500 as initial payment, he promised to get the job done, he scheduled and came back on Sept. 11th, he said that he needs to get some more additional materials and asked for more money, I gave $200, then went out to home depot, said that he will be back in half an hour, but after getting my money, he never came back and never showed up at all. I made hundred calls and hundred messages but he is not returning my calls and when called with a different number, heard my voice and totally hanged up, never takes my calls, totally ignoring my calls, and he already took $700 from me but never shows up to do the work. I don't want him to come into my house again, and all I want now is to get my money back so I can hire another company to finish the job for me."

Out of all of the companies, Todd Bayliss of Archadeck, was the only one to follow through on estimate to repair and separate estimate to renovate. Also, he was by far the most responsive when I contacted him with questions and changes to the plans. When I finally decided to accept his proposal he told me he could start in two weeks which I understood because of special order skylights but it was actually under two weeks because he replaced the crushed roof beams and then replaced the plywood on the roof and then shingles. He found the exact size skylights even though other contractors said they didn’t make that size anymore. I am extremely pleased with the completed job and wish I had called Todd Bayliss of Archadeck first. I would have saved many weeks and months that was wasted waiting on other contractors getting back to me."
