"We were looking to get a patio installed.  I had 4 other patio contractors out before we brought Saul in; a number of them were the big known patio installers.  Saul came out and reviewed our plans and recommended that we go visit one of his other jobs just down the street. I appreciated that I was able to go see firsthand his work and what it looked like before committing to such a big job. What I really appreciated about his approach vs. the others was his commitment to quality and discussion about it as compared to the others. The other installers were just interested in providing you a sq. foot cost.   We ended up getting a very extensive flagstone patio installed with seating walls, stairs, and all.   Saul and his team worked extremely hard and did a fantastic job end-to-end, from working with us on the design to cleaning up the site after they finished.  We are beyond impressed with the quality especially compared to our last flagstone patio.  A few of our neighbors were already looking at his work and we will be highly recommending him and his team.  
 
The price was overall comparable to the other patio installers I had but I feel like we made the right decision for the level of quality we received."

"I signed a contract in January 2016 with First Impressions Hardscapes to extend my patio this year.  The work was  done in March In setting up the frame they drove a stake in the ground and broke a pipe in our underground sprinkler system.  When the  technician from the sprinkler system can to turn on our sprinkler they noticed that one area was not working.  Upon investigation they discovered that the pipe was broken. I called First Impressions Hardscapes and advised them of what had happened when their people came to extend our patio.We took pictures of the broken pipe and sent it to First Impressions Hardscapes along with a copy of the bill I received from the sprinkler company.

In May I contacted First Impressions Hardscapes but there was no response.  I contacted them again in early June and still no response. 

On June 21st I again contacted the representative of First Impressions Hardscapes and was told the request would be passed on to the billing department.  The company, in my opinion was refusing to reimburse me for the damage they incurred until I advised them that I was going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.  I received an email on June 22 stating that they would pay for the damage.  To date I have not received payment.  I will not recommend then to anyone.

"We had an old sagging poured concrete patio replaced with a bigger, flagstone patio in our backyard. We got several quotes from other highly rated companies and Mottern's quote was not only very competitive, but we also liked that they were willing to go the extra mile and tear out the existing concrete patio vs just building over it. Jeff and his crew were prompt, courteous, and communicative. During the tear out of the old patio, they ended up denting a bump out. My finished project is a retaining wall (3 feet tall by 40 feet wide) and a patio (12x24 feet) with beautiful pavers on both. The landscaping around the wall and patio was just what I wanted with river rock and plants. He transplanted the young trees that I wanted to keep and helped me pick out plants for the rest of the project. I had not imagined including lighting, but Elijah suggested it, and the lighting is beautiful. I also had a walkway installed that matches the paver patio style. It all looks so great, I am very happy with it. I highly recommend Cassella Landscaping. Elijah and his team were such a pleasure to work with and the finished project looks amazing."

"Rob Montgomery came to the house for the initial estimate and brought samples for the awning we were looking to purchase. He was very knowledgeable about the different manufacturers and their track records for quality and service. We sent him a photo of the patio before he came and he brought samples to provide some excellent color and style options. He also gave us honest feedback on some of the options, including lighting and wind sensors. The installation was professionally done by Ron Montgomery and we are extremely pleased with the look and functionality of the final product, which covered a large part of our concrete patio that is exposed to direct sunlight about 10 hours a day in the summer. The shade provided by the awning makes the patio much more usable and is very attractive. The whole process for the custom awning was about 3 1/2 weeks from estimate to installation."
