"Excellent. Soil only went down 8 inches before hitting rock. They were able to break it up and get me 2 feet of soil down before hitting rock. They took care of hauling away the huge rocks and filled up hole with dirt and top layer of soil, seed, and straw. They did this for half my front yard where I needed more soil depth to plant large tree and also keep grass alive. They were upfront about everything and did a great job. They got it all done in 2 days. They are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Wilson and his crew."

I ask when he's thinking we can get it done. 3 days later I haven't heard back. I open a new project on Angi, and re-select this same guy by mistake. He replies promptly, gets all the details, and then once he gets my email no further contact. It feels like there's something personal here, or maybe he quoted too low for the project, but in any case I literally cannot imagine a less professional way of handling this whole situation. My guess is that he showed up to the job to scope it out, then went to find a couple day laborers to actually do the work. Maybe he couldn't find any, maybe he realized that this job was too big.
