"We recently hired LUX Foundation Solutions to stabilize the foundation of our garage, which was sinking. Before we decided on LUX, we talked to representatives from 2 companies; both companies suggested the same plan of action to fix the problem. The representative from LUX was forthright about what could realistically be done in terms of lifting the garage and gave us some time to think about his proposal. The other companyâ s representative assured us that his company could do much more, but he refused to put that into the contract (â They wonâ t let me,â he said). The other company was also asking for six or seven thousand dollars more, so our choice was clear. The workmen from LUX arrived on time, and they didnâ t bother us at all (no requests to use the bathroom or anything along those lines). We heard the jackhammering, of course, but other than that, the job was quiet. The foreman was always polite and ready to answer questions, and the crew always cleaned up at the end of the day (it was a 5-day job). "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"From start to finish, MC Fence did a great job on the project.  Jeff was an outstanding salesman/foreman.  He arrived on time for the estimate, was thorough and helpful with suggestions for the project.  After he provided the initial quote, I asked him to change a few items AND provide a quote for an additional section of fence for my neighbor (plus remove a section of their fence).  He revised the proposal and was very reasonable with the request.   I placed my deposit and scheduled the work to be done.  The materials showed up a few days before and the crew showed up on time the day of the install.  They were very easy to work with and did their job very well.  The crew had to displace a small tree and some shrubs.  They even replanted those items where I asked them to without hesitation.  The job was done on-time, no materials left behind and the construction was top notch.  Fast forward a couple of weeks.  I turn on my sprinkler system and there is a big leak near one of the fence posts.  I am quick to assume it was the result of the fence install as this has never happened to my sprinkler system.  Jeff assured me that his crew did not hit a line, but said he would take care of it and was very quick to come out and check out the problem.  He dug up the area himself only to find that indeed it was not related to the fence install.  He helped identify the  problem and was wiling to assist in fixing it.  TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!  They stand behind their work."

"Rick Golobo and his crew did an outstanding job totally renovating our parking lot at an apartment building we operate in Washington DC.  They gave a competitive price and delivered on it.  We forgot to request striping and numbering of the parking spaces and were flexible enough to add them in after the contract was signed.  They also installed bollards at the end of the job to stop the local trash contractors from using our lot to reverse their trucks which had caused a lot damage in the past.  We would definitely recommend them for any sort of asphalt or resurfacing work based on our experience.  We will definitely be using them again on similar projects.

"I met with Andrew a few months before the work was to begin to discuss options.  In August 2014 he installed a long french drain that emptied into the woods and down the ravine on my property behind the house.  As sometimes happens with these things, the system did not really get a good test until today.   We had a storm cell over our neighborhood that dumped a ton of water in my yard in a very short period of time.  Andrew's drain sucked it up without a problem and moved the water as advertised.  I should have done this years ago!
