Best deck repair pros near Rapidan, VA

"They were prompt and efficient and we are so happy with our finished deck!"

"The best way for me to sum up my experience with Wells & Wells is simply. You are doing business with just genuinely good people. They take pride in their work, and their customer interactions. Our deck was destroyed by falling trees during the snowstorm in January. We had a regular wood deck and we thought the damage was extensive. After many contractors Wells was the only one that came by and provided an honest assessment. They didnâ t cut corners for cost purposes, they were just honest and real about what needed to be repaired. The not only repaired our deck, they almost completely rebuilt it. For all intents and purposes we now have a new deck. We were able to upgrade from wood to Trex (due to the current cost of lumber). The folks at Wells even told us about the cost differences in wood and Trex and provided professional advice in helping us upgrade. They never tried to price gouge us, they never took advantage. They arrived everyday on time and completed the work on schedule. Throughout the project they would check in to ask how I felt about their work as the project progressed, and they walked me through once it was completed. My wife and I were so impressed with their work that we will be contracting with them from other future projects to improve our home. Itâ s just great to know companies like this are still around."

"Terry and his nephew did an outstanding job in rebuilding my back staircase. They arrived at 8:00 AM and were finished at 12:45 PM. The finished product is wonderful. Should I need any additional work performed for the deck or porch, I know who to contact. Thank you Terry."

"Once a date for the work was scheduled he arrived before the time agreed upon and made the necessary repairs in a timely manner. He made an assessment of the rest of the home for any needed repairs. Very knowledgeable. great work and customer friendly. I'd recommend this company to others. Thanks !"

"Wade and his crew did a great job rebuilding my deck. I will be hiring American Deck and Carpentry in the future for any additional home improvements."

"BLESSED BROTHERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE HOUSE AND DECK WERE EXTREMELY DIRTY FROM 4 YEARS OF OTHER HOUSE BUILDING IN THE AREA. THEY GOT THE HOUSE AND DECK LOOKING LIKE NEW! WE DEFINITELY WOULD USE THEM THE NEXT TIME."

"Troy did an amazing job! We had him do a deck repair for us last year that was done very professionally so this year we had him do some deck repairs at our son's house. Again, more amazing solid work! This year, we've had him do some shed repairs, fix a few door issues, replace some hinges, some bathroom remodeling and some general handyman repairs around our house and we are completely satisfied with the work. We highly recommend Troy!!"

"The only regret I have about hiring Travis Graham/Graham Restoration was that I didn't find him sooner!  I needed a variety of jobs done to get our house ready for the market, and Travis was able to take care of ALL of them, quickly and professionally.  He painted the exterior and replaced rotted and dog-chewed wood trim, replaced pickets, replaced damaged siding, replaced boards on our deck, did some gutter repair (actually repaired some guttering that I thought would have to be replaced, thus saving me considerable expense) and did a small plumbing job.  Travis was very responsive to my initial call and follow-up emails.  I needed the work done in a hurry and it was also during that period where it rained for three weeks putting the schedule into turmoil since much of the work was outside.  Travis communicated about what he could/couldn't do because of the weather and looked for openings in the weather to get the jobs done.  For my jobs, he charged an hourly rate plus materials (and I had almost all material on-site) and he does not waste time.  He doesn't hurry but he works quickly and methodically and stages the jobs to get the most done in the least time.  In short, I'm sure I'll have another punchlist once we have a buyer for our house and subsequent home inspection, and I will absolutely call Travis to take care of it."

"I had a warping post under a 12 foot high deck. Grant was fantastic - explained everything they were going to do to support the deck while they replaced the post. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. It has been over a year and the new and remaining post are straight as an arrow. Highly recommend Grant and crew."

"Ferguson Home Improvements did a fantastic job.  All the work that needed to get done, was finished beyond my expectations.  The workers were very friendly.  The job took a little longer that expected, but Ferguson Home Improvements were not at fault, the weather played a major factor with the deck stain and door installation.  At the time the work was getting done, we received a lot of rain and storms.  All in all, I would highly recommend Ferguson Home Improvements.
