"In a nutshell, we hired DreamMaker because of Steve Everett, and that turned out to be an excellent decision for us.  The heart of the matter is this:  Steve, as it turns out, is the honest man we expected, and he does his business diligently, knowledgeably,  and efficiently.   All that translates into an end result we were thrilled with and no aggravation or nasty surprises for us along the way.
The first thing we noticed is how patiently Steve worked with us to specify our needs in detail - and our need for detail was greater than either his or his competitors.  This is one area where we prefer the DreamMaker approach to contracting:  For very little money up front, we got to see the contract reworked and fleshed out in detail until the project was specified in a way that we were very comfortable with.  At the other end of the spectrum, some contractors handed us a 1 or 2 page contract and said they couldn't tell us more until we signed a $25 or $30K contract - not even draw a picture.  We prefer the DreamMaker way.   
During the project, we knew which days to expect the various subcontractors and inspectors.  All the subs were competent and professional, and they were well-supervised.  We never had to deal with the subs directly , although we could always ask them about something.  But the important thing to us is that we understood what they were doing and why, and we felt comfortable with them in our house.  
We changed our mind about some things about half way through the contract and decided to ask for additional work.  We thought the contract mod process was very fair and reasonable.  We did NOT feel "held up". 
And at the end of the day, we were thrilled with the results.  Everything works right; things look even better than we imagined; we like having been consulted when there was a gray area or a matter of taste involved; and we like that things were completed in a time frame we agreed to.  We had heard so many horror stories about home contracting, but working with DreamMaker and Steve Everett has got to be "as good as it gets!".  We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

"Luis and his team did an excellent job. We have a house built in 1966 with plaster walls and cast iron tub and they had a bear of a time on the demo. "Jose and his team remodeled our master bathroom. They removed the existing tile, tub, and shower and installed a walk in shower, They needed to move the plumbing for the shower and vanity, install a new tile floor, build the shower, install tile for the shower floors, walls, and two niches. They also, repaired all the walls and painted the entire room. Their craftsmanship on the tile work, drywall work, and painting is the best that I have seen. They did an incredible job. They were very professional. They arrived on time every day. Jose is an excellent communicator and took the time to explain any options throughout the project. They put protective material down on all the floors leading to the bathroom and setup a plastic barrier each day to contain the dust. At the end of every day, they cleaned up their work area so that the construction materials and tools were limited to the bathroom itself. We had compete access to the rest of the master bedroom. Very highly recommended and I would not hesitate to contract with Munoz Construction again."

"Balteza Property Services were given a project to remodel the entire bathroom from basic tub to rain shower model. We were greatly impressed by the quality, momentum and high degree of professionalism. The entire working crew were very punctual , diligent and responsible in their entire process of remodeling. We were very impressed by their execution of hauling out the debris and amount of dust during their work. At the end a through clean up was done. "Although we had to wait approximately 6 weeks for the installation it was well worth it. Work was well worth the wait. Our Installer called every day to provide eta, always let me know at the end of the day what the next day plan was. Always cleaned up at the end of the each day. End result was beyond expectations. Adjustment was needed on the shower door one week later, and the installer came out on the weekend to make adjustment."
