"The Contractors Inc. did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets. The whole process was very easy and inexpensive. They were able to provide a quote for us over the phone (no one had to come over and sell you stuff). When they came to install the cabinets the workers were very professional and completed the job in one day less than we thought (quoted to take 3 days but ended up taking 2). They went above and beyond by fixing one of the drawers that was sagging and installed small holders on the sides of the cupboards under the sink. Highly recommended and the whole process was smooth."

"We interviewed a lot of companies for this project. The Contractors were by far the easiest to work with. They didn't require my husband to be home for the quote and they were thousands of dollars less expensive too. They were clean during the install and we LOVE our cabinets so much. We basically have a brand new kitchen with minimal disruption to our lives. We are so happy with them and recommend them to everyone who needs a facelift."

"Communicated schedule clearly, arrived on time with all needed prep and painting equipment. Team was organized and worked well together. Floor was fully covered and areas not to be painted (shelving, garage door hardware, wall cabinets), etc.) were fully covered. Garage drywall to be painted had been poorly finished by the builder and the Worgens prep team quickly and skillfully corrected all issues and had the entire garage ready for painting in under 3 hours. Painted areas look great. When finished the team removed all masking tape and plastic sheets and swept garage floor, leaving the garage ready to move cars back in."

"Changed our 1960 kitchen and made it look like a kitchen built in 2020. It really exceeded our expectations. We refaced our kitchen in order to sell our house next year. We will have no problem selling this house. We were home the entire time our installer worked on the kitchen. The guy worked hard and he did a great job. I consider myself handy, but I wouldn't taken this project on. Glad we didn't decide to paint. Everyone that sees our kitchen loves it, For reasons I can't explain, they think the kitchen is larger. That is okay with us. If you are okay with your kitchen's layout and the cabinet frames are okay, then this is the way to go."

"The team of brothers were great to work with. They listened to ehat we wanted and worked within our budget. After a deal went bad on a house we were buying that they were going to remodel they quickly made plans for the new home we eventually purchased. The workmanship was top tier. They helped with thr design when we needed it and even accommodated a change at the end without a delay."

"Started Dec 2, 2025 to modify the kitchen to remove the desk type work space and convert to a pantry and remove the upper cabinetry and place in the space where the pantry exists and add lower cabinets. The build was phenomenal and the team that performed the work did a very good job respecting my home to ensure the floors were covered to prevent spreading the work on the floor. The pantry was completed on Dec 19, 2025 and the last thing that needed to be done was replaing the frosted glass on a cabinet. I paid the full amount of the project and then I received an email from Chris stating that there was a delay due to the holidays for the installation of the frosted glass. After that, it went down hill as I had to constantly keep reaching out about the status of the glass and an installation date/time which went ignored for weeks at a time, and rescheduling and missed or late appointments which went on until April 13, 2026 when I finally got the job done. Never again!!!"

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

The cost to install soft-close drawers professionally typically ranges from $40 to $100 per drawer. If you prefer a DIY approach, you can purchase the necessary hardware yourself. Soft-close inserts usually cost between $15 and $25 per drawer, while soft-close drawer slides can range from $5 to $230 each, depending on factors like quality, quantity, and type (e.g., heavy-duty, side mount, under mount, or self-closing). Investing in soft-close mechanisms can be worthwhile as they eliminate slamming and may help extend the lifespan of your drawers.

It is generally more cost-effective to purchase stock or semi-custom cabinets than to have them custom-built. The best option depends on your budget and customization needs.

Here is a breakdown of the average costs per linear foot:

  • Custom Cabinets: $500 to $1,200. The final price is influenced by factors like materials, size, and design complexity. For example, a basic slab cabinet door might cost $60 to $70 for materials, while a more intricate mullioned glass inset panel door can range from $100 to $200 per door.

  • Semi-Custom Cabinets: $150 to $700.

  • Stock Cabinets: $100 to $400. These are pre-built and the most affordable option, but they offer limited customization and may not be suitable for rooms with unusual shapes or high ceilings.

Costs range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the number of cabinets and labor.

How much cheaper it is to replace your cabinet doors depends on your needs. If you’re looking to spruce up the look and feel of your kitchen, then you can make cosmetic adjustments to your existing doors, like installing new knobs or a fresh coat of paint. Cabinets can be some of the most costly parts of a kitchen remodel, but if there’s structural damage regarding your doors, then replacing them is your best option.

Yes, you can replace the cabinet hardware after installation to change up the look of your cabinets. Replacing the hinges, handles, pulls, and knobs allows you the design flexibility to match your other appliances or finish schemes to your liking. Talk with your kitchen designer or cabinet installer about the best hardware option for your cabinets.
