I contacted them regarding a huge leaf removal from our entire lot (we had a ton of leaves with wooded space behind us, trees on our property, and trees along our property line and we have had some medical issues so have not been able to clear them in several weeks). Mr. Ramos made time to come provide us an estimate same-day since he was working the area. He walked around with me for a quick estimate provision, offered a more-than-fair cost, and was even able to make time for us that same day! Holy Land Landscaping cleared our lot of the leaves (and it was more than expected, but they still accepted the initial estimate, though we did add in some extra due to the higher-than-expected volume of leaves). Mr. Ramos was utterly lovely, professional, and provided a quality service. We will be using Holy Land Landscaping again very soon and would not hesitate to suggest them to friends. Thank you!"

This company removed an abundance of weeds and overgrown vinca, trimmed the shrubs, roses, and hedges before edging all the beds and mulching. They also removed the old lattice from under my deck, installed new framing, new lattice and replaced a gate. All of this was done in a few hours in excessive heat and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them and will be hiring them again for maintenance and a few other jobs I need to address in the future."

A dead tree should always be cut down, because it could fall and cause injuries or damage, and it can also attract insects like carpenter ants. A tree that’s diseased beyond repair should also be cut down, but it’s not always easy for a homeowner to tell. If your tree specialist says that a hardwood tree is in excellent condition, you may be able to use the stump as a decoration for years to come. However, it’s still important to keep an eye on it, and arrange to remove the stump if it starts to show significant signs of decay.

If you’re looking to rot a tree stump fast, potassium nitrate will work far quicker than copper nails. First, drill several holes into the stump using a power drill, then pour potassium nitrate pellets into the holes. Next, add water to help the chemical absorb into the wood, thoroughly soaking the stump to ensure the pellets dissolve and spread evenly. Afterward, cover the stump with a tarp to retain moisture and block sunlight, then place mulch on top to secure it in place.
