J.N. King Lawn Care

I withheld writing this review for nearly 3 months in hopes that Nolan would make things right; unfortunately that is not the case. We paid Nolan and his crew of 3 high school students $2,000 for approximately 3.5 hours of work. He did directly express to me that finding qualified help was hard and that his staff did not know the difference between a weed and a plant. I can attest that it is true that he does not have a qualified staff. On our contract was for the following: yard cleanup (removing sticks, leaves, pre-bagged debris), mulching edging and weeding beds, aerating the lawn and seeding, and two mows. He asked I pay in full before the work started. Which I did. I should have known better. I generally trust people and this experience has taught me otherwise. He did not pull any weeds, simply weed whacked and covered with old dried out mulch, left entire areas full of leaves and debris, failed to fully mulch the beds. He destroyed many of our annuals, with weed whackers and despite promising to make it right and replace them, never did. He was hostile, impolite, and often non responsive despite many attempts to ask he simply execute on the work that was promised to us. It was like pulling teeth to try and get him to make it right; he never did. This was a big expense for our family and I felt stolen from. I ended up doing the work myself, buying an additional 48 bags of mulch to account for the mulching that was not done, and replacing the plants that were ruined. If not for the quality of the work I would advise against using this company on principle alone - Nolan is not an honest person and I hope you are not the next person to lose money to him.

The work by J.N. King Lawn Care was first-rate, Nolan was very responsive both in quickly providing an estimate and answering questions after. He also was able to fit us into his tight schedule. I'm now looking to use them in the Spring to mulch my beds.

We needed last minute leaf removal and Nolan was able to fit us in. We paid a little more for the last minute service but that was to be expected. They did a great a thorough job. I look forward to using them for again.

I wasn't happy with the initial service, but when I called to discuss they returned the next day and did a great job.

i had a yard that was a complete overhaul . They completed it on time and it is beautiful. will use them for now on.

Nolan is awesome! He came out same day to give me an estimate and didn't try to upsell me on anything. He comes twice a month for maintenance and the yard looks great. I highly recommend.

We are really happy with the work done to our backyard (cleanup, mulch, pruning, patio maintenance). We were also surprised to see that they did the work ahead of schedule. We will definitely use J.N. king for any future work.

Nolan and his team were on point for the job well done. All Yard work were done with satisfactory to spare. No complaints there and it was a breeze doing business with them. Highly recommended for their service. We’re their client for life!

I hired him and paid a deposit for the work a month ago. A month later he is not done and keeps giving me the run around for when he is gonna finish. He left a mess and won't clean it up.

They were very responsive from the beginning and did what they said they were going to do for a reasonable price.

It was slightly expensive but it was worth it. The work was great. No complaints.
