"I wanted to wait until we had enough rain/snow to test out the french drain that Premium Drainage put in our back yard. Well......the difference was night and day. Sure it's still a little wet (we had 10 inches of snow followed by rain and we have clay soil), but we don't have to wear rain boots to walk in our back yard now!! They were very easy to work with from the first estimate until the job was complete. And the people who installed them were WONDERFUL! They cleaned up our yard as they worked, and you would NEVER know that there are 6 drains in the yard. They clearly knew what they were doing! Plus, the office staff was responsive and friendly. In addition, they put in a lovely stone landing below the steps from our deck. It was fan shaped and a bit of a challenge. The results were marvelous! Wish I had the need for some more stone work in our yard!!"

What was to take a few weeks turned into a three month ordeal. The county permit process caused hurdle after hurdle to get the permits but Rafe kept on the county and we finally got the permits and the job was completed to our satisfaction. We then put the house on the market for sale and had moved to our new out-of-the-area location. The hot water tank in the basement decided to let loose causing major damage to the basement. This is where RLD Builders exceeded our expectations. Rafe and his crew jumped in and cleaned up the water damage, worked with the insurance agents to get approvals, and completely rebuilt our basement. "I have about 2 acres of wooded yard and fell hopelessly behind dealing with the leaves. So I contacted the folks at ACE for some help. The staff and service was great from start to finish.
They we friendly when I called to  set up the appointment and worked with me to accommodate my work schedule. And, they continued to to make sure I was in the loop when the two gentlemen came to do the work. Not only did they contacted me to tell me they were going to be a bit delayed - it turned out to be about an half-hour - because of some engine troubles, they also spent time with me when the arrived to find out what my expectations were and where I wanted them to focus their efforts. Afterwards, they gave me regular progress updates. Since they were hired at an hourly rate, they wanted to make sure that they completed the work  I needed done and that there were no unexpected surprises regarding the cost. Both of which, I very much appreciated.
Moreover, although the cost was a bit higher than I hoped, that was because I underestimated the scale of the job. In retrospect, the cost was very fair given  the herculean effort of the two gentlemen - unfortunately I can't recall their names - to clear up all of the leaves. They worked nonstop, methodically, and effectively, and were able to clean up the entire property. When they were done there wasn't so much as a leaf or branch left behind anywhere. I was amazed!
I can't say enough good things about the folks at ACE. I would hire them again in an instant and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done around the yard.
