I hired RLD Builders to construct a retaining wall that needed replaced before we could repave the driveway. RLD Builders came in with a competitive price and won the job. What was to take a few weeks turned into a three month ordeal. The county permit process caused hurdle after hurdle to get the permits but Rafe kept on the county and we finally got the permits and the job was completed to our satisfaction. We then put the house on the market for sale and had moved to our new out-of-the-area location. The hot water tank in the basement decided to let loose causing major damage to the basement. This is where RLD Builders exceeded our expectations. Rafe and his crew jumped in and cleaned up the water damage, worked with the insurance agents to get approvals, and completely rebuilt our basement. Being that we were no longer in the area, it was a blessing to have RLD Builders on the job to take care of all the details. We couldn't have done it without them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ! ! !

We had a portion of our yard excavated and graded for a patio being built which will be under a new deck. Rafe came out the day after I called him and gave us an estimate and started work 2 days later. He is very knowledgeable and professional but is also down to earth. His price was very reasonable for the amount of work needed to be done. We will be hiring him again soon for another project we have in mind. It’s been a pleasure working with him.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work! The bathroom ceiling looks like new and you cannot see where there was any water damage. RLD Builders were very thorough in their water damage repair at our home.

I was so happy with my decision to hire RLD Builders. They were very prompt about coming out to give me a quote on the project, unlike some other companies that didn't show up at all or called to cancel hours afterwards. The price was fair, they had a fair contract, and they came within the specified time. I was able to contact the office manager with any questions and she answered promptly and courteously. Our job (installing wood fencing) was done in one day, and Rafe gave me additional advice on the care of my new fence. Friendly, polite, prompt, and a great project result, what's not to love!

Have worked with many contractors in my business and RLD Builders is one of the better ones. This was a personal job at my house and they are an outstanding contractor, Honest contractor with high standards of integrity and knowledge. Very easy to work with kept me and my wife informed throughout the project. Would be my first choice as a contractor in the future for other projects.

Once the weather cleared up the work was performed in an outstanding and professional manner. The worksite was left in great shape. I would highly recommend them to my neighbors and friends. GREAT JOB!

Work just started yesterday, but everything's running extremely well so far.

Contractor had to return to correct missed/incomplete jobs. Still needs to re-correct small areas. Needs to do better job making certain job area is kept clean and trash is removed from job site, not left laying around. This homeowner will need to clean outside walls/doors not cleaned by contractor. Contractor is honest, willing to make needed corrections, but if more attention paid to workmanship quality to begin with, needed corrective measures would be not be necessary.

Enjoyed having them install my patio. I would recommend them to my friends.
