"French drain was installed with drain boxes, berm installed near property line, sump pump installed into new drain, top soil added in disturbed areas, grass seed/straw over same. Company told me they'd be back to be sure grass was growing plus I needed more top soil and a cap is missing from sump pump line, but had no repeat visit -- this is my only complaint. The drain held up during/after recent big storm. Berm is deteriorating due to storm and more grass seed was needed before storm. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Company owner and workers were very pleasant. He explained process as work progressed. They're a little expensive, but it was a job well done."

"Today I met with Howard Glancy from JES Foundation Repair regarding the outside water seepage problem in my house. The water is coming in the bottom-level of my 3-story townhouse (end unit). My townhouse is the last unit located on the bottom of a hill. I also have standing water in my back yard every time it rains. Howard has very impressive credentials and is an expert in his field. After an inspection of the problem area, Howard gave me a very detailed explanation of what needed to be done to fix the problem. The water is coming in up from the ground underneath my house. "Outstanding. They dug to the bottom of the foundation and patched the entire length of the crack, inside and outside. The outside patch was heavy black epoxy with a very heavy rubber patch 3 feet by 8 feet. They did some drain work at the base of the foundation. The pit was about 6 feet deep. The yard looked better after they had finished than before they started. They returned the inside basement wall insulation to original state along with an inside patch. Work crew of 3. I had three companies come to inspect and give me an estimate. LUX was the best price. One company suggested an inside patch only which would not last the life of the building. Very professional and hard working. After cleanup it appeared as if no one had done major work on my house. They were the best contractor and lowest price."
