We opened Montgomery Shade and Awning because there was a need in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC suburbs for a local ‘shade’ purveyor. We have always enjoyed helping customers solve their sun and weather protection problems with attractive awning solutions using the best quality materials with skilled installation and follow up services. We take pride in providing our customers with finished products that include colorful storefronts and attractive outdoor living spaces that our customers enjoy. We believe that we set ourselves apart from our competitors because we only offer the premium products that provide better quality and durability. We are a small company that takes pride in craftsmanship, appealing and functional end results and happy, long term and repeat customers. As members of the Professional Awning Manufacturer's Association (since 1986) we strive to meet a code of ethics keeping the customer's needs first, with high quality products and excellent service. Offering retractable awning systems originating in Switzerland, Germany and the US with premium outdoor fabrics gives us the edge on state of the art design and quality. Our in-house installation staff have solved the most challenging mounting problems and are paid hourly, not by the job. We take the time to do it right the first time. "Mr. Reyes and his son were at my house for 8 hours putting a gazebo together that I had purchased from Wayfair. They only took 1 short break to eat lunch and were back at it until it was complete. They did a fantastic job!! A few other people looked at the task at hand before I hired Mr. Reyes and they thought it was either too difficult or would take too long to complete. I was extremely fortunate to have found them. They were very tenacious and courteous as well. I would definitely hire them for any future projects."

Each job is custom handled. Inspections are $100-250 with a full document and photo report and solution to the issue. Have me fix the issue and the inspection is free.
