This is not a reputable business. The Technician showed up to perform a service call but, did not have the proper refrigerant. The technician called the owner and I was told the owner was working on opening the warehouse to get the proper refrigerant so I wrote a check for the service call. The technician got into his truck to speak with the owner but, instead, he backed out of the driveway and drove away with my check without doing any work. B&B is not an honest business. Stay away! Next stop. BBB.

Dan and Andy were wonderful. They came on time and quickly found the problem. They were able to locate the part I needed and came back a couple hours later. They were efficient, clean, and professional. Glad they were able to fix my AC on a very hot day.

Very happy with our service with our technician, Pak. He came right at the beginning of the window for arrival, was quick and professional, and even brought his own filter replacement. Rarely have had problems with our B&B technicians and today was no exception!

We have had an annual maintenance contract with B&B for many years and they responded quickly to our call. The repair was performed by Pak. He immediately identified and solved the problem, and was efficient and professional - just like each of the personnel from B&B that we have met over the years.

We have used B&B under a yearly service contract for more than 30 years. The technician Joan Almonte did a very thorough job not only checking and doing some useful preventative maintenance tasks but also identified a couple of weak capacitors that were replaced before they failed. Joan went out of his way to show me the new capacitors that were used in replacement before he installed them.

Brendan did a great job -- we have had a service contract with B&BAC for the past 20+ years and have always been satisfied with the quality of service, the responsiveness, and the prices. As part of the contract, B&BAC provides an annual service of the air conditioning system in the early spring and the heating system in the early fall. By keeping up with the inspection and maintenance of these systems, and by replacing parts of the system on their recommendation, we have had very few problems over the years. When there has been an issue, B&BAC has sent out a service person very promptly.

B&B technician Trel responded to the emergency call (I have a maintenance contract with B&B). A new thermostat was installed within an hour. The work was done efficiently and quickly, and the thermostat has worked fine these past few weeks. I appreciated the prompt response and service in what would otherwise have been a dire situation.

They showed up on time. Diagnosed my problem as a defective ignitor on my furnace. They wanted to charge me $350 for an ignitor. I'm an old guy and I know what a ignitor looks like and I know they cost about $25 bucks. I found one and Grainger for $22.68. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Michael A. "The Journeyman service technician arrived and diagnosed the problem with your furnace as a bad igniter; he called the office to get price and availability. The office quoted a price of $353.56 for the ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (OEM) York Factory Approved Igniter, he didn't have the igniter on his truck but the office was willing to send it to him right away to get your heat back on line as soon as possible. I should add that the OEM part we quoted was an upgrade kit recommended by York to improve ignition reliability and igniter life. You stated that igniters only cost about $25.00 dollars however each manufacturer makes their igniters according to their equipment requirements (i.e. voltage, ohms, amps, temperatures etc. etc.) therefore the prices for igniters will vary depending on the different manufacturers. We only sell the OEM parts to provide longer lasting parts and warranty (one year in home material & labor). Many people would consider this good service and are willing to pay the costs necessary for quality service. We will not sacrifice the quality of service for price. I have reviewed the Grainger's part and price on their website as you stated. They have two generic parts, one of them is carbide igniter for $30.20 and the other one is nitride igniter for $39.60 at wholesale prices, which supposedly work with your furnace. Please understand that these parts are not OEM and the supplier does not provide a one year in home warranty as this contractor does. In the event a purchased part fails within the warranty period, the part would have to be re-ordered by the purchaser resulting in down time while waiting for the part to arrive. B&B would replace it for you right away with no down time. You stated that you paid $472.00 for the service call; we only charged $110.00 which is our minimum service charge to send a licensed Journeyman technician to your home. I truly believe that a service company would not have long term success by treating their customers unfairly, as you suggest. For 50 plus years we have followed a manufacturer's recommended pricing philosophy, which has allowed us both a reasonable profit & sustained growth. Admittedly our overhead is high, as it is for the rest of the service industry; however, until such time as the ever increasing cost of doing business (i.e. rent, insurance, hospitalization, advertising, equipment, gas, licensing etc.) reverses we are left with little choices. I would like to thank you for your input and A ratings on responsiveness & punctuality. Unfortunately, this forum does not allow me to post pictures and there are obvious differences in the igniter you purchased and the OEM part. I've had one for 30 years. They are very good. It's never gone up. I pay so much a year. It's a guarantee a year for that price. I don't pay any labor charges. Of course, I have to pay if anything is wrong but that doesn't happen much. When I need them, they are here.

I have a service contract that I've maintained since the installation. If there's ever a problem, things don't last like they use to...I have them out every year to check things out. A couple of times I had a pump that failed and they said those pumps don't last forever; they said be on the lookout for every 4 or 5 years...that sort of thing. They kind of give you advance warning on what to expect. This is actually an historic home. I had applied, a couple of months before, for tax credits county and state to offset some of the cost. I'm waiting on both groups to get back with hey, it's been approved. With the service contract, you get a discount, you're the top of the priority list. Sometime it's the same guy so, he knows exactly what he's looking at. The service has worked out great. Also, it's great when someone comes out almost immediately.

They checked different levels of efficacy of the units to make sure they are working up to par. They pretty much stay on top of where each customer needs to pay attention to the maintenance of the equipment.
