We do water testing and termite inspecting for new home buying contracts. Locally owned and operated business servicing Bedford, Lynchburg and Roanoke area with pest control including termite and other wood boring pests like powder post beetles, carpenter ants and bees. We accept payment at time of service for residential and can accept credit card payments as well. We also have a Military Discount of 15% along with a Senior Citizen discount of 10%

"Came in, barely looked around house or attic. Refused to crawl into attic to look for nesting. Stood at ceiling entrance and tossed in poison. No strategy to deal with them and no inspection of the area at all. Way overprice for service provided. Would not recommend them at all."

It’s unlikely true water bugs will get into your home plumbing system. You may find them in gutters, rain barrels, or open irrigation on your property. If there are bugs near your indoor pipes, leaky sinks, or other moist places, they are probably Oriental cockroaches. No, vinegar cannot kill bamboo. Common household chemicals like vinegar and even bleach are unlikely to kill bamboo, and they may only have minimal effect on bamboo roots. Since they can alter the chemical composition of nearby soil, we suggest avoiding these methods. Bamboo is very tough and not even all herbicides work well against it. To beat back bamboo, find an herbicide that’s specifically designed to work against tough grasses.

The best way to deal with a rodent problem is to avoid it in the first place. One way to do that is to make your home smell uninviting to them. Here are some household products that can repel rodents. When using oils, try soaking a cotton ball in the stuff and leaving it in places rodents frequent:

  • Peppermint oil

  • Eucalyptus oil

  • Cinnamon

  • Vinegar

  • Cedarwood 

  • Cloves

  • Garlic

  • Chili oil/powder

  • Cayenne pepper
