"Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) helped us through the process of replacing our countertops and upgrading our kitchen. Andrew and the rest of the team there were very helpful and informative. They assisted us in understanding our options, which materials were available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. We choose granite as our best choice. CGM has a large number of selections available and was willing to walk us, literally, through their warehouse so we could look at and touch the options. They provided us with samples of those that we were interested in so that we could see what the stone looked like in our kitchen. The installers arrived on time and did a very professional job. We felt like we had time to review and ask questions and did not feel rushed in any of the process. The job was very well done and looks beautiful. They also installed the sink that we bought, it all looks so nice. I want to thank the crew at CGM for a great job. We are waiting for our tile installer to do the back splash and have some trim and painting to finish on our end, but the upgrade to our kitchen is wonderful. Thank you!"

"Tanner was amazing! I called him with a leaking hot water heater on the weekend and he immediately dropped everything and was here within the hour. After diagnosing the water heater he located a replacement went and picked it up and completed the install the same day. Tanner was polite and personable and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!!"

After having a local contractor come out and provide me with a bid that seemed really high, I looked on NextDoor and saw a reference to Angie's List and specifically Automatic Climate - we used to use Angie's list and so I went there an checked it out - Automatic Climate had the most "A" reviews - something like 700+ in the Richmond area. Figuring I'd pay more but also recognizing that there's peace of mind paying a bit extra for quality work from a local company, I contacted them for an estimate. A gentleman named Michael who's their VP of estimates contacted me shortly -Michael was immediately likeable and came across as totally knowing his stuff - he explained the story of the company and how through their 4 step installation process, they differentiate from the other 199 HVAC contractors in the Richmond area. He came out for a quote and left a professional packet of materials for me to look at - we decided to go with them - Bottom line - these guys were awesome. Highlights: 2 years 0% financing, timely completion, and perhaps the most surprising thing, their bid was the lowest of the 3 I received (and of course the people, from Michael to the lead installation manager Chris to their receptionist. I am now a raving fan of Automatic Climate (and actually Angie's list because I see why they have the most positive ratings.)"

"We were doing a bathroom reno. It's the second one we've done. In the first bathroom, we were able to replace our light, no problem. Not so in the second one. It was a mess, had no idea what to do and it caused a problem with the electrical in other parts of the house, where a family member had medical equipment that needed to be on. This was on a Saturday. Called Davis & Greene's (we'd used them in the past) emergency number, left a message. Got a call back in less than 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I had a tech (Chris) out who fixed everything up and was very nice and professional. Needless to say, we'll just call them from the get-go next time."

"Came to do the work within 5 days of my call (nonemergency project) when others said it would be a month before they could get to me. Also, the project was more time-consuming than I thought when I described it to them but they did not charge me more than the phone quote. They had to go to a home improvement store and get a toilet as the one I had purchased myself was damaged when we opened the box (not the plumbers fault at all). Then they had to chip away brick and block in the house foundation and crawl through a long crawlspace to install the faucet. They did it all with courtesy and cleaned up after themselves."

"Robert from Goodman Plumbing and Heating was very attentive, and very informative.  He took several measurements, and discussed the options I had for the Mitsubishi system.  We discussed all the particulars for the design, the install, and the workings of the system.  Of all the interviews, Robert was the best.  In my home, I was going from 'no heating and air system' to having something that would work perfectly in a home with no duct system.
The Goodman installers, Matt and Jeff, arrived on time and went right to work.  They informed me of each step they were taking, installed the system, and cleaned up afterward.  Robert arrived during the install and made sure everything was going well.  Matt was very helpful explaining the remote control and how to work the system.  I was very pleased with everything and I will use Goodman Plumbing and Heating in the future.
