"We received quotes from four companies - Drainage & Erosion Solutions' pricing was fair and the quality of their work & our experience with them seemed too good to be true. So much so that I've waited for nine months to post a review to be sure the drains they installed addressed the flooding issue. The project included installing five catch basin drains, over 70 feet of 4 inch drain pipe and another 70 feet of six inch drain pipes as well as replanting flower beds, regarding several areas, and installing river rock in two of the drainage beds. The drains have performed exceptionally well. What used to be a river forming on one side of our house, now quickly drains into five catch basin drains they installed. In addition, they were very concerned with aesthetics and made the drain areas look wonderful. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them. Also, and perhaps most importantly, their recommended solution addressed the root cause of our flooding issues. Two of the other companies we received quotes from accepted that water would get into our crawlspace as a premise. Drainage and Erosion Solutions actually made sure that wouldn't happen in the future."

"Excellent job all around. The work was done in late March, 2019, but I waited to post this review until after a heavy rainstorm. The storm of July 8, 2019 (>4"/hr) would normally have caused water to seep up through the concrete floor. After the storm, there was not even a drop. The sump was dry. The job was messy: jackhammers and lots of dust. They left it clean. One cannot even see where they cut the lawn to get the pipe to the curb. My only critique is that the new concrete poured to replace the broken floor should have been completely leveled. From initial estimate to installation, excellent work."

They immediately responded and said someone would be out to the house later that afternoon/evening. Edgardo called later in the day and asked if he could come out earlier. Upon arrival he took the proper COVID precautions and wore and mask and also ensured he covered his shoes to protect our floors. After diagnosing the problem and considering the age of the water heater and the overall installation not being up to code, we decided a replacement was needed. Edgardo thoroughly and patiently described the options for a replacement water heater and quickly checked if they were result in stock. After deciding on a model, he was able to schedule an installation in about 24 hours! During the replacement, Edgardo and Ethan were very thoughtful, respectful, and thorough, ensuring they took care to install the water heater correctly and to code. They were both wonderful to work with, very professional, and caring to make sure the installation was correct. We will definitely consider them for future plumbing work!!!"

"The night before my biannual HVAC check up, I found my basement had some flooding. I have been working with Appleton Campbell for a YEAR and the experiences have been unwanted but exceptional. No one wants to have their sump pump die, but mine did this week. Today Ethan and David came by to check on the new furnace and airconditiong system I had installed last year. THANK GOD they came today. It was a rescheduled visit, but I found out my basement had flooded a bit. I had my HVAC unit inspected and now they are installing a new sump pump Monday. I was hoping Appleton and Campbell could provide guidance as to what was happening and who to call to fix it. They are doing everything. Last year I was purchasing my Mom's house as she had passed away. A week before closing the HVAC unit went out. They came out and a day later I had a team of people replacing the system. I have natural gas and pay a monthly fee instead of paying a huge amount the months usage spikes. This new HVAC system is so efficient that I had 4.5 months where I didn't have to pay a bill because I ended up with a large credit."

"Specific project: remove broken disposal and replace with sink strainer at former disposal opening, and add shunt from dishwasher to main sink drain pipe. Described project on phone to get quote and a clear detailed acknowledgment of the project was reflected in that conversation. But the workman consulted with the office and got a different idea. He left the broken disposal in place, shunting the dishwasher drain around it, then upon my inspection had to correct the error. Other than this confusion, everything else went perfectly."

He tied in 5 new downspouts to the new drain and re-attached and cleaned out a few more downspouts ensuring my home will remain dry during the wet weather. The job was done on time at a fair cost. "We had water coming in to the basement from the ground of our new home. After we spent a ton of money remediation the resulting mold, we had to figure out how to prevent more groundwater from making it's way inside. We got an estimate from one company, but it became clear that they didn't know the real source of the water. We called a second company, which gave a rational explanation and plan to waterproof, but the price was too high. Then we called Best Buy, we met Jay and everything was just right. Jay was very friendly, he explained what the problem was and had a clear cut plan to resolve the issue. (He didn't even know about the other estimate, he was just eager to help a first time homeowner get out of a hole.) Also, when we had a follow up question about out sump pump, Jay didn't just drop us because he'd made the sale. I called after hours, not expecting to get a call back until the next day. Instead Jay called me within 30 minutes and took the time to answer my questions. We really appreciated it and it made me sure that we made the right choice. Since the repair, we've had a few storms and everything has held up. The next big test will be when we power wash the house, but with Best Buy's phenomenal warranty, I am not worried. Finally, the crew that did the work were great. They cleaned up when they were done and Hamilton (Hammy) made sure to run through things with us. He was also very sweet to my elderly mother."
