"Should be called "Steal-tite". Company came out to give estimate in MAY 2019. Said they couldn't do the job until December, but we weren't having any leaks by June, so we went ahead and signed contract, sent in $800 deposit. Well, we ended up buying another house and decided not to have the work done. This was about October. Tried to call Seal-tite several times, always get the "answering service" and they never call back. Finally found the card of the engineer who quoted our estimate, Curt Giantonio. He said too bad so sad for our deposit, and that we had no recourse to get the money back. I realize the contract said the deposit was non-refundable. But the company could have been courteous, understood the situation, and refund my deposit even though legally they don't have to. Instead they've chosen to keep my money for zero services rendered. I could understand them keeping a portion to cover the travel costs of the engineer who came on site to give the estimate, but there's no way that is anywhere near $800. Greedy company that obviously doesn't care about people."

"The service itself was excellent. However, they billed me for an extra month, and said that their billing cycle runs from the 15th to the 15th--after the end of the service term. Therefore, because I needed services for calendar months (running from the first of the month to the last of the month), I evidently was billed for two weeks extra on the front end and two weeks extra on the backend. I'm a small family farm owner and can't afford this kind of thing. Unfortunately this billing policy was not disclosed until the end of service."

You should pump your septic tank once every two to four years for a family of four, depending on your septic tank size. You should pump a 1,000-gallon septic tank every two years, while a 1,500-gallon tank should be pumped every four years. Water usage also affects how often you should pump your septic tank. If you notice slow drains, foul smells, or gurgling sounds from your drains, you should pump your septic tank as soon as possible.

While dry wells are helpful for dispersing excess rainwater from the roof or around the house, there are some downsides. For example, if you install a gravity flow dry well, it can take a long time to release the water depending on the dry well’s depth and the permeability of the soil. 

There’s also a risk of overflowing the dry well if you don’t have one large enough to handle the amount of rain in your area. The biggest disadvantage is that it’s hard to clean out a dry well, and sediment buildup can make the dry well less effective.

Another common question is, what pressure should your well tank be set at? The standard rule of thumb is to set your well tank’s pressure at 2 psi below the cut-on point of your pressure switch. So if your well is set up for a high cycle of 40/60 psi, your pressure should be set to 38 psi. If you use a low setting of 30/50 psi, you would set the pressure to 28 psi.
