"Aldo and his crew did an amazing job on our sidewalks and slab. Very good at communicating with me before and during the job. I was on site to watch the work done and aldo ask multiple times throughout the job if i was satisfied with each part of the job. Always on time and great job on clean up afterwards. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for sidewalks or slabs. Thanks aldo !!"

"Valle concrete did a fantastic job pouring the concrete slab with footers for a 3 car metal garage. No issues at county inspections. The guys were all respectful of my property and I'm appreciate of their hard work. They were also very reasonably priced. Would hire again and recommend to any friend or family of mine. I also asked for them to put in a French drain around the building and they did a great job with that as well."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Driveways should be sloped with a minimum 2% slope—anything lower will cause precipitation and runoff to collect. A 2% slope is the equivalent of a 2-foot rise over 100 feet. One quick way to check the integrity of your driveway’s slope: no more than four inches of water should collect on the surface longer than 15 minutes after rain.

In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If you’re widening your driveway and plan on widening the apron as well, you’ll usually need a permit from the Department of Transportation in your area. This permit costs between $50 and $300 in most cases. Most municipalities will also require a certified and insured contractor do the work relating to the apron and curb cut. You can contact your building department or ask your paving company if you need a permit. Your driveway professional will usually pull the permit for you.

An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.

Yes, with colored finishes and decorative stamping for a personalized touch.

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.
