"I needed to replace a large retaining wall which was protecting an outside stairway to my basement. The existing wall had gotten to the point where the wall was in danger of imminent collapse. Jeff Dame of J&D Masonry promptly returned my call for an estimate, showed up on time, and scheduled the work to be done promptly. I was very pleased with his workmanship and professionalism. He kept me well informed of each step in the process and promptly returned my phone calls, if I had a question. Although we did not discuss some of the construction details in advance, the wall he built was first rate---cinder block, poured concrete, rebar reinforcement. He also made several aesthetic upgrades to the wall he replaced. He even placed stucco on another wall that he did not replace, so it would match perfectly. When he was finished, the worksite was cleaned up to the point that it looked like he had never been there. Throughout the entire process he was pleasant to talk with and unhurried. His pricing was very reasonable and well below another estimate I had gotten. I do not think anyone else could have accomplished a better end result. "My water went out on a Thursday morning. I got Classic plumbing off of Angie’s list called them first thing when they opened. They had someone at my house by 11:30 that same day. It was decided that since my water pump was working intermittedly they would start work the next day since it would be an all day job. I was lucky and had water the rest of that day. They came the next day. Amazingly I got a call from the office advising me that they were gathering equipment and would be a half hour later. Never has anyone called me like that when later then expected. They just show up late! The office staff were wonderful. The crew came and worked all day long . This was a job where there were major obstacles and they never gave up. Worked till dark and could not work anymore. I needed not only a water pump but the electric wire to inside box was bad. Impossible to fix that day but were back on Sat morning and put a new wire from pump to inside so I would have water over the weekend. On Monday they were back and worked all day to bury wire and finish the job.They encountered multiple problems because my system was 35 years old. They were so nice and never complained . I thought for the work they did the price was really fair. Worked 2 and a half days. I paid $5450.00. Got new pump new casing new electric boxes switches wire and they worked hard for 2 and one half days. I thought it was more than fair. They gave me discount for Angie’s list which other Plummer companies did not offer. I will need a hot water heater in the future and definitely will get them to do."

"the fireplaces were cleaned very well and very quickly (the basement fireplace was VERY full).  we received an estimate for other work that needed to be done (see above) and everything was written clearly and concisely, with a specific dollar estimate.  then, they sat down with us and explained every step of the repairs that were needed and why they were needed and how it would fix our issues, including smoke from one fireplace blowing into the basement.
when they came back, they were prompt and so efficient.  they completed the work quickly and cleaned up everything after themselves.  i would definitely use them again!!"

"Hunter and his crew did some extensive structural remediation on a 50 year old house I recently purchased. The corners had stair-case like cracking and a basement wall underground had horizontal cracks. They drove piers under all 4 corners of the foundation and applied carbon fiber support straps to an underground wall. They also did some water drainage remediation to get water from the gutter downspouts further away from the house. It took several days but I was well informed of their work days/times and they were very professional, including the guys with shovels in their hands. They did a great cleanup and I feel very confident with what I saw, that my house is now stabilized for another 50 years."
