"We needed present closet racks removed and raised so we could put in a second lower rack underneath Nicolle was quick to respond and offer her services. She came out the same day to look at the project and determine what we needed. Once the supplies were delivered she promptly and efficiently installed and also repaired holes and cleaned up. We would definitely use her again and have already recommended her to neighbors."

"We bought a gazebo and asked for their help to have it put together. The project turned out to be more complicated than we all expected. Kenny & Nathan studied the instructions and got it all put together. It’s just what we wanted!"

"Audi is a professional and reliable person. He is fair, on time, and very clear. He explains options for assembling furniture and, in his example, a dehumidifier. He put careful thought into the best option for me when assembling furniture and the dehumidifier. Another project was the removal of an old satellite dish. Beautifully done. He tidies up when he’s done and organizes the extra tools, pieces, etc."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

No, a chirping smoke alarm is usually a sign of an issue with the power supply of the unit. This is easily solved by replacing the battery to stop the smoke alarm from beeping. If the chirp continues, review the owner’s manual to determine the cause. These chirps are short and not as loud as the beeping of the alarm itself. If you can’t tell the difference, it’s best to treat it like an activated alarm until you find the cause.

If your oven is new, then it’s likely that the oven smoking is due to it being a new unit. In this case, you don’t need to worry about the oven smoking. However, if your oven is old, you can’t identify any burnt food or grease that could be behind the smoking, or you have concerns about the heating element, then you should hire an oven technician to inspect your unit.

Concrete homes have better fire resistance because this material is highly resistant to fire and heat. But any paint, siding, windows, roofing, or other materials on a concrete home may still be flammable. Never try to stay in a building with a large, active fire or a wildfire approaching because this can still be deadly. However, building a fireproof home with concrete can better protect the structure against total destruction.

To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning on a propane heater, make sure that your heater is suitable for indoor use. When you run the heater, it should always be in a well-ventilated area with proper air circulation. Installing carbon monoxide detectors on every level of your home is also essential. If you have any questions about using a heater indoors, contact a local heating and oil company for more information.

No, you should never leave a fireplace burning overnight or unattended during the day. While fireplaces are made to contain fires, fires can and do spread from fireplaces, so it’s crucial that you’re there to monitor them and put them out if needed. If you’re worried about putting out a fire before bed, stop feeding it fuel long before bedtime and actively put out the fire using your poker, a shovel, and some baking soda.
