"Two level deck needed minor surface rot repair, power washing, and staining. Flores Enterprises LLC quoted and completed the work in the same business week. Attention to detail on staining is excellent. Provided photos of repairs and completed work and kept me informed on any issues which arose. Would definitely hire again."

"Very well. Work was scheduled over several days to meet our complex schedule and was completed according to the schedule. Painting crew was very professional and did excellent work. Owner of GS Custom Remodelers visited each morning, was always available for consultation, and inspected and approved all work. On several occasions he directed the crew to retouch areas I had not noticed. His prices were not inexpensive, but he was worth every penny we paid and then some. I recommend him highly, have used him on more than one job, and will use him again."

"MC Fence & Deck built my dream deck, and I’m obsessed! Hunter walked me through the design, and his ideas made it way better than my original plan. John and his crew handled everything. Build and add an aluminum fence around the yard. They were professional and on time, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Now my whole backyard looks like a magazine spread. I highly recommend these guys for decks and fencing. They’re the best in the business!"

"Ronnie was great. He took the time to explain to me in detail everything that he was going to do before the job and afterwards he went over how everything went.

The fact that he showed me before and after pictures of his work blew me away! Since most of the work he did was on my roof, I would never be able to see the results otherwise.
I will definitely hire Ronnie again for any roof or deck work I need in the future. He takes pride in his work and it shows.

"Dave Garrett is very high energy and obviously passionate about what he does.   Spent an afternoon with him planning out the look and the types of plants where is his knowledge was very helpful in meeting our goal of "very low maintenance".   His team arrived on time on Friday, worked until late evening (on a particularly hot day) and would have completed the install if they had not run out of the stone.   They came back on Monday to complete the job..
It took a bit longer to get the large (20+ ft) Ash tree installed and we did have to call to check on the status of it arriving but part of the delay was ensuring the tree was properly prepped (water treatment).   The second tree was actually a small Willow that Dave "donated" from his own yard which was appreciated.
Overall we were very pleased and when it comes time to expand our deck (he does that type of work as well) we will definitely use him again.

Deck Maintenance questions, answered by experts

For the best results, stay off of your deck for at least 48 hours after sealing it. Giving the sealant at least two full days to cure ensures it can fully penetrate the wood, giving you the most protection from sun and weather damage later on. Walking on the deck too soon can prevent it from properly curing and cause your deck to weather prematurely.

While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct structures. A porch is a covered structure, usually attached to the front of a home, that offers protection from the elements. In contrast, a deck is an open, uncovered platform, often attached to the back or side of a home. Because porches have a roof, they typically require less maintenance than decks, but both features need regular cleaning and repairs to stay in good condition.

Yes, you can build a deck over your outdoor HVAC unit, but you need to leave at least 5 feet of vertical clearance above the unit. If you don’t want your deck to be that high off the ground, you could build a floating deck in another part of your yard—again, as long as you leave at least 4 feet of horizontal space between the deck and your AC unit.

Both composite and PVC decking are excellent alternatives to wood. However, while composite is moderately priced and lasts around 30 years, PVC costs more and lasts longer. PVC is also more durable, though both materials are more durable than wood decking. Ultimately, the choice between composite and PVC decking will come down to your budget and preferences.

Yes, designing builds to fit space constraints and meet functional needs.
