"A representative from Paramount Builders was walking our neighborhood and talked to my husband; shortly after, we met with Marvin, one of their marketing representatives. He thoroughly reviewed the company with us, what they do, Paramount's service and guarantees, pricing, and timelines. Marvin gave my husband and I time to talk it through before we decided to go with it - he was fantastic at explaining the company, the product, and the unique marketing system Paramount uses. The only downside to that experience was that it did take more than two hours, and my husband had to go to bed (he works an early shift.) The unique marketing: Paramount sends reps to a neighborhood to walk around and talk to homeowners with needs; they make appointments with homeowners, and then present the services, and give an estimate on the work. But here's the thing: they have a brilliant marketing system. The first home in the appointed coverage area that a) hires them for work and b) signs contract at that time gets a laaaarge discount on the price of the job. To get the discount, the homeowner agrees to put up a yard sign for Paramount Builders for 45 days; the homeowner agrees to write an HONEST review on Angie's List; and the homeowner is asked to take 'before' and 'after' pictures, and allow them to be used in marketing materials (with all identifying information removed). Because we took that deal, we saved hundreds. Now, I am perfectly aware of marketing tactics, how that approach could build pressure, and the fact that the company could be inflating prices to shine up the 'discount.' Happy to report, we found out that Paramount Builders guarantees the following: They build, buy, and purchase all needed materials (they measure your house and extrude gutters to fit) They prepare all materials ahead of time They do not use subcontractors - all crews are company employees So, yep, we did it. From the first person we talked to until the last, every person was kind, communicative, responsive, and happy to help. Everyone at Paramount Builders kept us up to date with every step of the process to pay for and install our new gutters - signing contracts, signing financing documents, setting the installation appointment, and getting the final 'we did the work' signoff from my husband (who was there when the gutters were installed). And the cooooooolest thing? The Paramount Team called before they came with an installation timeframe of 4 hours. They came within that timeframe. It took them AN HOUR AND A HALF to remove the old gutters, back bases, drainpipes, and clear the pipe extensions ... and to install the new back bases, gutters, drainpipes, and hook up the pipe extensions. And my husband said it was quiet - he didn't know the Paramount Team was done until they knocked on the door! So, summary: - Great marketing - Awesome company employees, all around - Dedicated employees, all around - Excellent customer service - Superb materials and equipments - SUPER quick installation - Is a wonderful company!!! TL;DR: Paramount Builders are awesome; if they come by your house, hear them out!"

"Ralph Bertrand from Home Genius Exteriors came out to thoroughly examine our roof. Ralph showed us many photos & a video of our roof, outside & inside. Ralph took the time to answer any questions we had. He explained the various products used & levels of warranty available. We really appreciated the time Ralph spent explaining everything to us, all without pressure to buy. The day of install arrived & the team was on time & ready to work! One thing we liked was that there was someone there from Home Genius Exteriors during the whole time of install. Richard Bowan, the Install Manager, was there to oversee everything & he did an amazing job. They placed large tarps over all our landscaping & got right to work. Rich kept us updated on progress throughout the day & answered any questions we had. In addition to the new roof, we also had new gutters with leaf guards & downspouts installed. When the work was completed, we walked around the house with Rich. Everything was completely cleaned up; there was nothing left behind or out of place. Our home looks amazing. The new roof, gutters & downspouts really look beautiful. We loved our experience with Home Genius Exteriors, especially working with both Ralph & Rich. They were so professional & knowledgeable. "I have mixed feelings about this job. The company was extremely patient with the scheduling changes I needed to make because of health issues. However, mode of communication was an issue. Kept calling a cellphone, not in regular use, instead of the landline or the preferred e-mail. Installation was timely, as we had the ice storm soon after, it was also a one-man job and I was amazed at the job he did. He was very professional always measuring twice and sometimes more than that before cutting anything, as despite all the measurements done, the inside core of the door frame needed to be trimmed for the unit to fit. Not sure if that is why once it warmed up, first one-side and now the other side, is not a tight as when originally installed. The also is now an issue with the interior frame, the mitered seam at the top of the door has separated. Another issue was this door was supposed to share a key with the front door as both were Schlage locks and can be rekeyed. A copy of the key was provided prior to the job. This did not happen, nor did the copy come back the day of the install, had to wait for it to be mailed to me. The company tried to rectify both problems, the loosening and they key issue, but not happy with their solutions, as one requires me to complete the job, the other is aesthetic... lack of symmetry, no longer smooth frames on both sides . I like the product's overall appearance, and would repeat the business to ensure uniformity, but given the price, I did expected better. Also would not advise using Mosaic, their finance group. I have issues with a company that mails their statement 4-days after the payment is due, even if 12-months same as cash."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"The whole process was amazing! The windows have a lifetime warranty and are the best windows on the market. The sales representative who came to the house, Floyd, was amazing. Never once did i feel pressured to buy anything and he even played with my son while he was here. He went over all the information he could to try and give us the most information and answered all of my questions. He called his boss to work out payment arrangements as we are a very young and growing family. The company itself was great, they were concerned it was going to rain so they rescheduled so no water would get in my house just in case. I felt very valued and appreciated. The install team couldn't have been better. The crew I got was ART and they were amazing!!! They answered all of my questions as i had them. walked me threw the whole process and gave me a tutorial of how to work everything when they were done. I was concerned about the clean up aspect as most contractors don't exactly do the best job when it comes to that, but with these guys i had no issue what so ever. You couldn't even tell they were here, well besides the amazing windows that were here when they were done. Would love to have this crew come back and do all of my jobs! for them to replace 22 windows it only took them 4 hours! I was flabbergasted! I can't thank them enough for the great job they did!

"We interviewed six vendors to receive estimates and explore various products and installation options.  The price estimates of our top three were fairly close.  We chose American Siding in-part because it is a local small business, but also because of the product line and workmanship techniques described  The project was delayed about a month from the target start date due to prior job sire requesting additional work not included in their original contract.  Our project included high end vinyl siding with foam backing and we had over 30 windows on the house and shed.  Paul worked with us to use lower grade siding and windows on the shed to help keep costs down.  His crew of Jonathan and Dave were professional and friendly, very hard workers.  We had frequent discussions to be kept up to speed on the work being and the progress of the job.  A separate crew did the roof which took only two days, although the second day ended at about 8:30.  The overall job took about five weeks.  A great deal of attention to detail was paid to the installation process.  The siding was applied on top of the existing siding.  A lot of time was spent on building out the windows so they would not be recessed.  Many other details that are not seen were attended to that I believe some other companies would skip.  Our original contract was for 40K but we had an additional $700 overrun.  This was for the replacement of a large amount of rotten wood beyond the amount agreed to upfront.  We have had several compliments from our neighbors and are delighted with the appearance.  We have several improvements immediately.  The house is quieter, the temperature throughout the house is much more even and the ac runs less often.  Even when you go from downstairs to upstairs the temperature is constant and it no longer feels as stuffy upstairs.  This is in part due to the venting in the roof.  All in all we highly recommend considering American Siding Inc."
