Craftsman’s Homes was very professional and delivered exceptional work

Reggie did an excellent job on my attic ladder install. He was punctual, very professional and polite. He cleaned everything up at the end of the job just the way it was when he arrived. I highly recommend him!

Replaced inside and inner part of door frame, and re-hung door. Installation was clean, aside from a few spots that had some messy caulk work. The installation tech had to leave for supplies which slowed the project down, but in his defense it was kind of an irregular job. Hole for deadbolt was drilled shallow, deadbolt still locks but it only inserts about a half inch into frame now, however this is an easy fix I can do myself. Overall I’m satisfied, even though I was worried at first when the tech kept leaving for supplies with the back door off the frame, leaving the entrance wide open.

Very good across the board

I live outside of the Richmond area and wanted to do something for my sister’s birthday. Her front stoop was in disrepair and of the 4 contractors I contacted, Reggie was the only one to respond. His estimate was reasonable, he removed the old stoop and hauled away the debris. The new porch turned out way better than expected; he stained and beveled the posts, which added a nice touch (total craftsmanship). I highly recommend Craftsman Homes RVA LLC if you want your job done correctly!

Set up arrangements for the provider to come to our home June 5th at 7:30 am that changed to 11am. Finally showed up later. From what I was told by my wife the owner let his worker go at my home. So the owner asked could he come another day. When he came back he started the work to be done. And the estimate stated that he would replace all the railing . He sanded a couple. So told him that is not what was in the estimate. And on that same day my wife asked him to not park his van in my back yard by our septic tank. Upon coming back he did it two more times. The provider has been putting off our job to do other jobs. And one time he said he had to come back because he brought the wrong size wood. The he showed up June 21st. Said he was going to come back on June 22nd to pick up the old boards and power wash the deck. Meanwhile the work that had been done had gaps at the stair rails. Told him that was not acceptable. So when he returned on the 22nd he tried to repair it. And fix the uneven places he left on the stair rails on both sides of my deck. But didn't bring his trailer to get the old wood. When we spoke on the 21st. He was having his subcontractor come to my home on the 23rd to stain the deck at 8am. One of the workers showed up at my home at 5:15 am He came up on my deck at 5:45 to start taping and we have a dog that was barking waking up the whole house. So I had to put the dog away. And told the subcontractors helper I didn't want any painting done until the boards had been sanded where the owner of Craftsman homes has left rough places. And fix a board that he left loose. As well as some nails that were sticking up on the deck. Which was stated on his estimate. I texted the owner to tell him his subcontractors was at my home before the time he stated they would be there. And there were issues that needed to be addressed before staining the deck. He called when I was on my way to work. I called him when I got to work. He is saying that he is not going to replace any boards. I said the boards needed sanding and mentioned the other issues that needed to be addressed. He proceeded to tell me I didn't know what i was talking about. I had people come to my home and said the work was not done well. Two of which do carpentry work. The owner of Craftsman wanted to over talk me and said it was because my deck is not plum. And he was putting lipstick on a pig. After going back and forth he decided he was not going to finish the job and left. I had told him that if he was putting lipstick on a pig. He was the one that gave the estimate. Why didn't his estimate reflect making it right. But his cuts in wood reflects he can't. Him and one of the other estimates i got was around the same price. Definitely wish we had went with the other company.

They showed up on time. Did a great job. Had suggestions to improve the repair and made it even better than what we thought was needed. Fair price. Cleaned everything up. They repaired it as if they lived here. Treated us like family. Looking forward to working with them again. They are our go to company for future projects we have.. Thanks Craftsman Homes.

Reggie was on time, professional and knowledgeable! Excellent eye for detail. Excellent craftsmanship. Install of my new attic steps; I feel safer going up now. Old wooden stairs gone, replaced by new aluminum stairs!

We had Reggie back after doing our floors and had him do our deck. Him and his crew worked so fast they had it done in enough time for us to enjoy at our son’s third birthday party. We are looking for the next project to have him back.

Reggie has completed several home improvement projects for me. He replaced my Kitchen Floor and some Cabinets, rebuilt my outside deck, and replaced my front porch and steps. I have referred him multiple times to people I know, and they have all been very well pleased. Reggie is my go-to man for almost any job I need done.

This company was great to work with, also very professional, and provided great customer service and high quality craftsmanship. Our beautiful new deck has become my family's most adored area of our home. We will be contacting this company again for any of our home repair needs in the future.
